Out of curiosity, how many players are 32+ levels?

I would like to see a lowered penelty to experience loss if you respectate at a higher level:

Level < 31: 50%
Level 31: 40%
Level 32: 30%
Level 33: 20%
Level 34: 15%
Level 35: 10% (180mil = 18mil xp loss = 2 normal generations)

If the idea is to lure ppl into retiring, what would that help?
Now that you can share gold/looms between characters, just make alt if you wanno play different "class" and dump your mains gold/looms into your alt. Why respec?

BTW, our goal is not to lure them into retirement but to make it worthwhile for them if they want to do it.

Well, what about just giving 1 Heirloom Point for each ~8 Million xp (like normal retirement), so you wouldnt lose anything. Personally i'd consider retirement again with that

I think "many" of those high levels are like me, plenty of looms. I have specced 2 times to test builds, once near lvl 34 and the other at lvl 32.
But neither one was done for the looms or gold. Nor would i do it in the future.

well, the only thing to make me retire, is ability to get special name  for your weapon, with only slightly increasing stats, and thats for those over lvl 35

That's a horrible idea 1 Heirloom point for each 10 mill or more I say.

The closest to level 36 (@ 418,780,850 XP) is missing about 195 million - the characters are all above or not too far away from 200 million.

You are obviously way to perfect to not make a perfect build. Congratulations.

I didn't mention anything about luring people into respectating. Nor did I mention anything about respectating to play a different class.
There are actually people who would like to tweak their builds just a little bit...

Considering that your alts are gen 1-5, whereas a main is gen 10-20, for most players, it's actually 1,4 times faster to level up on your main than on your alt for most players. So time for 8 mil with an alt <=> time for 12mil on your main. Also take into account that your alt plays 50% of the time below 30, when the main is already level 31+.

So, i'm totally against the idea of extra heirlooms for high level, or maybe, eventually one more for 33, two more for 34, etc... And nothing for 32, wich is... still low ? (one respect, and back to 31 anyway)

Then what is this post?

Some players are not 100% happy with their builds, myself included.
If I could make minor changes by respectating at 10% XP loss I would do it.

It auto uninstalls your game and deletes your character
