Would lead to faster leveling, making gold even more useless, meaning heirloom pricings go up.

However, I kinda agree. If implemented the right way, it should be able to push the xp cap from 1450, that number is just so.. random.

I say it should be 2000 xp, at least you should be able to get 2x the amount.

This would totally kill the already fragile "economy" we have, so I don't know either.

On the other hand, retiring faster then the supply of heirlooms points will go up so prices should go down.

I think the best way would be to get rid of the cap and keep it at 30 per gen.

30 per gen is essentialy 3% more per level, considering a good chunk of the longtime well known players are at least gen 20, that means they'd get 60% more xp, that would mean they could easily hit 100% more, it would take loom prices to the point of worthlessness and eliminate the point of having them at all.

I don't think its too bad as it is. I wouldn't oppose an overall reduction of XP for levelling from 1 up to mid 20's though, but with the same overall XP required to reach 30/31. The worst thing about retiring is getting to some basic stats/skill level at least 70% of levelled characters

30xp is more than enough. If you always play with x1, each gen will lower the amount of time needed of 4 hours. That is enough, isn't it. And usually you have a multi quite often...

So no.

Yes, +1 for 100xp bonus!!, I loved the 18k xp ticks on x5!!!!!

If they did that I'd be getting what 15k at an x5 hmm sounds good to me.

But honestly 1450 as the cap is dumb we should get to a least 2000 then cap. Even keep it at 30 per each gen just make the cap higher

I think it's fine the way it is but by the time I get to that gen, I will wish you kept getting some bonus for retiring other than the looms.  :P

I was disappointed when  I found out the bonus caps, and fairly early IMHO.

But of course I am of the mindset: I don't give two shits what other people are capable of, they have put in a lot of time to get the gen they are at.  Yes I do realize there are people who have 10x as many gens as I do.

No, heirlooms would become more prevalent, making their value go down and gold value go up as you need the gold to even be able to use those items with the upkeep. Opposite effect than what you are saying.

So it would be a "good" thing for the economy.

As a person who have 19. gen main (soon 20 gen), i think 30 xp is more than enough.

No because it will not be fair for players who is stuck in gen 1 or gen 16 as they cannot retire. Another solution: Keep gen 16 max cap, but increase exp 30 to 60 or something.

Didn't read thread, so probably already been said, but...

How exactly? The amount of experience you get does not increase the amount of gold that's on the market. Faster levelling would imply more heirlooms on the market and reduced prices.

Personally, I think it's weird that the more you play, the faster you get shit. Personally, I'd accept +100 per gen or more what ever, but IF it would ONLY affect your pre lvl 30 xp gain. There shouldn't be XP bonus after lvl 30. Or, well, that's just my opinion.

-1 this post all you want

It should be reversed...

Right now the more gens you have the faster it goes.  Meaning its easier for people with lots of gens/looms to get more gens/looms.

I would think it should be easier to gen your first couple times, and get harder and harder as you try to gain more and more gens/looms - this is the way most leveling/acquisition systems work....the higher you go, the more difficult/grindy it becomes.

Never really understood the current system.
