So at a recent LAN party where we only played c-rpg / native versus bots, I decided to sit over a couple of rounds, and record the battle as spectator.
When I was done, I didn't really know what this could become. I decided to go for a war machinima, so I came up with a cheesy backstory and started editing.
So here it is;

Be nice.
Since I had alot of fun making a M&B machinima, I'm thinking about making a sequel. What do you think? Was thinking about the Rhodoks final assault on the Sarranid capital. Any suggestions?
If you want to join the making of the next film (if it's gonna be made) let me know here.
Peace out!

Nice.

Well done!

It was pretty dark, and I mean in reference to the lighting, not anything else.
-
Stopped watching after two minutes.
Dull overall. And the Sarranids are a Sultanate, not a Sultanide and whatever that is.
Also, is Einheijnar your idea of a nordic name for a village? It sounds strangely familiar to einherjar which in Norse mythology are the deceased warriors in Valhalla that train relentlessly for the event of Ragnarök.
Not to mention one of the oldest clans in Warband.
In any case, feel free to make a sequel but I doubt I will waste another two minutes.

tsk tsk
it was stated in the little note that the story was made in hurry!
I want a sequel, maybe brighter with a bit more depth in the scenario
anyway I loved it.

This makes me want to cut myself and jizz at the same time.
Well Done!

I do know what einherjar is, so I tried to come up with a name that suited a nord village. No biggie. About the sarranid sultanide, damn, thought I remembered it was spelled differently in M&B.

I didn't criticize the story, I pointed out one error and questioned a part of the story.
But to further add critique, from the seemingly big amount of time the OP had to dispense for the intro and fancy redundant effects he could have bothered to use his brain and corrected things that are otherwise hard to overlook.
And I am free to criticize his work to the extent I choose, as he obviously deemed it ready for public viewing by posting it here, and without much disclaim about its quality or content other than the story which in itself was a feat of poorness (now I just criticized it).

I just responded to your critiscm, I can see what you are saying, the story is semi-flawed, yes. No reason for that attitude. :)

Can't see a thing in those shadows.

I also loved this video made by raven tayfulas : http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Mn9vnNqa6C0

Aight, I realize that I might have been playing a bit too much with the filters :s

Yeah it's a bit to dark (lighting). Nice otherwise though :)

Ahh, thats the old Bjord. About time you ditched the weird 'good guy that wants to make up for previous mistakes' act.

Very cool video! Parts were a bit dark, heheh, but overall was fun to watch. Thanks for putting it up!

Thank you! I will fix the darkness problem for the next video :)
If anyone have some ideas for a followup, please help me out!

Indeed, everyone hates rhodoks :(

As already mentioned a bit dark. But very nice played and made.
What is that small glimpse of a face at the very end of the story?

Actually, I might need some actors if I'm making a sequel!
Since I have been getting such postive feedback, I am really encouraged to make a follow-up.
M&B machinima is really fun to make!
