The Annoying Bandits Clan is a Strategus Clan for all you scumbags, from peasants  to pros, we want you all! Our strength as a clan will come from our unflinching use of brute and cowardly tactics. With a sizeable force we will be able to hold our own section of Strategus (if it comes back online...)! And we believe in equal opportunity, so budding Bandit bosses will be encouraged to lead raids and sieges on the rest of the world, if not mustering troops and equipment.

 All you need to do is

And not be a douchebag.
You don't have to be able to sacrifice a lot of your time, but you will still be a prized part of the clan, and conversely, there is a lot of scope for you ambitious people out there.

When Strategus is back up, we will all meet for a meeting for conspiracy. Btw, if you tell your buddies they can join too, and you can form all sorts of splinter bandit warbands! If you manage to capture a fief under your name, you are a bandit Warlord! Warlords will be the backbone of our brigandry and supply our bandits with beer, hirelings, and stones to throw at knights!

Every Annoying Bandit should try to aid any fellow Bandit in Strategus, if not leading a Raiding Campaign themselves. Our tactics on the battlefield are not bound by codes of honour, so employ any efficient methods of winning the match (except hacking)! NO bandit stands alone, I want to hear of subterfuge the ninjas dream of!

Our clan is growing, and our organisational and tactical skills must evolve with it! So, I'd like to see outlines of possible clan tactics we can use to CONTROL THE  MULTIPLIAH from you members.

Whether you are in a battle server for Strategus plunder, or for the mere slaughter, the Annoying Bandits should not stand alone. In fact, it is a good idea to have a tight squad who can use teamplay to devastating effect, these groups can win (or lose  :P) matches. We have a teamspeak3 channel at 88.198.6.104:9987. When you join I'll give you the channel password on steam or PM it to you.

Mate you are allowed to recruit people, and they are allowed to recruit other people, etc, I think we want to adopt a strength in numbers attitude, and hence swarm the Strategus map, so by all means, invite em, just maake sure they post here so I can add them to the roster!

i want to join (Im Awezone), i have a strategus character (Tzun_Tzu) but i dont know how to play strategus xD...so i have to learn, but i like the battles and do quite a good job there, tried many characters, is there somewhere to constact the clan, a forum or something similar?

Well, I have steam and my details are above, or you can post on this forum with any Annoying Bandits related things now that you are part of the clan! Strategus battles aren't working at the moment, but anyways, the game is browser-based on the website, and moving and recruiting soldiers takes time, so it would vastly improve our raids if every member recruited what they could. Also, buying weapons for Strategus battles is done on the browser, so when people apply for our battles, they should state their proficiencies, and when we have more bandits, we can discuss the Strategies to take in each raid.

Well am sorry Wind. It is nothing against you, nothing against your effort. Like you can see in my last post I made sure not to crit the banner or saying things like "its ugly". Because it's not ugly. It just doesn't fulfill our needs as far as recruiting goes

I just believe that I order to get a better pull toward our group we need a clear recruiting banner. Right now the banner, well we can't read what on it. It's hard to see what you wanted to express. The effort of human eyes to analyse text is pretty limited, you can call most people lasy because they are. As soon as one as a harder time to read one thing the interest goes away. Sure there will always be the ones who see pass it but it's what 20% of the population.

I hope you didn't take it as if I wanted to trump your effort or hurt your feelings its far from that.

From a book I have, law back in the days required if found guilty, most of the crime you get death otherwise you get fined and have to pay compensations. If you don't pay you loose right to be a citizen and become a wolf's head.

We are going to change the tag to ABAND. But the old one was AnBan. I suppose now would be a good time to change the tag, so everyone can add a tag of ABAND. It's more serious.  :lol:

You do namechange on character website. Create a character with the tag in the name, get on a crpg server, get out, and you can select them in name change. It costs 1000 though.

Sure, man, I would just like to do a test play alongside you. It's just a standard procedure to make sure people are not douchebags (because obviously being in a clan needs people skills etc). I would like to join. I rarely play strat because it's not my style but I will try to support the clan with gold and troops : D. I often play on EU1. I am really annoying in most times :). My build is a crushtrough monster with heavy armor. I also have an xbow. Fear my mace bitchaz  :lol:.

P.S:Im not in love with TS so write instead xD.

Tomas, to get this whole tactics thing going, maybe we should start by adding each character's weapon focus to the first post. This way we would get a good overview over what kind of skills we have at our disposal and could then create tactics accordingly.

I'll start:

The_Little_Hobbit - 2H/Throwing hybrid with focus on 2h, high-Agi ninja build.

Sir_Marblecake - screwed up Cav/Polearm build, also usable as inf.

Azincourt - dedicated archer, will be a longbowman somewhere down the road (currently lvl 6 ;) )

I think i hardly see you because of the time difference, I saw you on, when it was 3:00 a.m. and it was probably regular time for you. But for me its the middle of the night, and i can only stay up that late on the weekend, i have school mon.-fri.


Also, marble, im going for 2 hander, I wish there was a sword of wind...... They had a cookies and tears, why not wind?

I'm not sure if I could make it this Sunday, as I will be at family home (offline) for most of the day, and possibly the night too. Then I'm off to Sheffield to stay with my gf til Thursday! So I'll be away again!

After long deliberation I have come to the conclusion that I must leave this stalwart band of bandits. This has several reasons, but mostly it is because I'm just not cut out for clan life. It somehow irks me to have a clan tag in front of my name and I'd rather strike out on my own.
I'm actually a very casual player and have no interest in strategus or clan battles, and I started playing CRPG to relax from long days of working. Being affiliated or owing allegiance to anyone in my free time just doesn't sit right with me.

I hope you guys understand.

I'll see you on the battlefield and should we share the same team, I shall be happy to lend my blade to your victory  :)

OK, considering the amount of renowned and devastating players we have, we should be able to put together a couple of team strategies. Now I know for a fact that some members of this clan (excluding myself) could easily top the scoreboards by a long way, when they are left to their own devices. We could harness that power by forming a fairly long line with large gaps to avoid archer spammery. The primary heavy hitters on this line will cleave through enemies, maintaining some cohesion to avoid being ganked, and the ranged and cavalry players can support these players by taking out any threats deemed to be out of range of the infantry, but still a threat.

What time do you guys get on? i play almost everyday around 4 pm, 8pm whatever is more convienent, I never see any ABAND tags, im lonely.
Also, using The Eastern/atlantic time zone, in the U.S., about what time do you get on? Also, where do you guys live, i hardly see anyone in the NA servers, but on the EU servers, my ping is 500. I play, but i think its the time zone difference that makes me seem like i dont participate in this.

Yeah I'd say the time difference is pretty bad. I'm usually on 20:00 onwards GMT. I don't mind coming NA for a bit, but I'd end up shooting people instead of fighting in close quarters.

fed up of people writing in game that we are stupid and can't be taken seriously, and just not 'getting' ABAND...

here are some ideas, if we ever have a clan name change, that we can mix n match, just for lolz

aggravating, annoying, bothersome, disturbing, irritating, troublesome, vexatious

bandits, brigands, crooks, desperados, foragers, hooligans, marauders, outlaws, pillagers, plunderers, raiders, ravagers, villains

i'd go with...bothersome hooligans, just so i could have the tag BOHO...lol, or troublesome outlaws, so i could be TROUT...lol

it's shorter and suits me better

means "ABAND_Phil_(extremely horny)" in german

please change me on roster

and add ABAND_clitoral_damage (my OP thrower)
