Ok so. i reached lv31 with my polearms guy and wanted to make it into a archer. but i have a problem. and that is the fact that i cant hloom my bow. I have 4 diffrent bows but i cant heirloom any of those. So do i need PD to hloom or is it just bugged?
-
yea u need power draw to use the bows i had the same problem when i went melee for a retirement
-
Yeah! You need to be able to use the item you want to heirloom.
-
It's a bit of a shame if you want to change your gameplay, but it is also understandable (that way you don't focus on heirlooming the most OP weapon, if such a thing exists).
And i'ts nice if you think of retirement like this:
-Son, I'm old and I can't battle anymore. It is time for you to follow my footsteps.
-But father, I don't think I'd be a great swordsman like you...
-Nonsense! Take my beloved Sword of War, and take care of her. Your grandfather gave it to me, and it has served me well. They don't know how to make swords like this no more.
-I will wield her, and make sure I honour it with my skills, father!
Otherwise...
-Son, I'm old and I can't battle anymore. It is time for you to follow my footsteps.

-But I want to be an archer!
-Then... take this Warbow I've bought now. I have not used it ever, but sure, it has to be quite good!

Makes the game more fun testing out new play styles, at least i think so

Is it just me or "not getting your bow heirloomed" somehow NOT related to Strategus General Discussion forums?

Loom the arrows perhaps ?

Loom the arrows perhaps ?
this, if you really still want to be an archer that bad and see yourself continuing down that path arrows would be your best bet to heirloom.
(since you can't heirloom your bow without meeting the requirements)
-
Having to meet the requirements is really a stupid game rule!
This can be absolutly game devastating, also it is not fair for different weapons.
I am lucky that I want to heirloom a crossbow and only need some strengh. Actually a crossbow is quite the same as a bow, but MUCH MORE easier to heirloom.
Common sense has been struck by another blow...
-
Loom the arrows first then. Next time remember to stack up enough PD. Also welcome to the club of my old friendotry

Heirlooming arrows is notthe point.
The current system is just stupid.
An archer could heirloom black armour(PD6) or snipercrossbow. Why should a shield carrier not heirloom a bow?
Heirlooming every items just improves the fun of the gam, because players could easier change classes and are not forced to play archers or riders 3-4 times.
The current system has to be changed, there is no point to discuss about.
