2091 dead Nordmen. Even one Nordman is too many, but considering that even though the Templar defense crumbled like dust before Nordic might, we had to attack. A price gladly paid!

Hail Coconuts. Hail coconut queen Cooties. I welcome the endless hours spent making coconuts with open arms. This is slavery I can stand. It feels like coming... home.

They ran out of gear at the end of the battle in Aab. Probably 100 or so free-kills. Lordly gear otherwise, no matter how much Casimir cries that Nords had better gear (SUPER LORDLY HAXXED GEAR) :D

They ran out their better weapons a little earlier in both fights, but had loomed heraldic mail almost all the way through (really all the way at Mijayet). Since the fighting was always at the village, they had no trouble looting new ones off the ground. Our heaviest infantry was a little heavier than theirs, but we also had lighter troops, and some of their weapons were more expensive than ours, so all in all gear levels were roughly equivalent. They also had just as many men on the field.

They got their asses kicked, all right. :wink:

well i wouldnt say we had even gear :P you had MW longspears and MW Awlpikes we had normal pikes and MW halberds. our 2h weapons were basic crappy axes but our 1h set up was good :P The MW awlpikes just wrecked us and your superiority in ranged :(

was fun for a bit tho. Lag did get a bit crazy. i would side swing at one guy and somehow overhead someone next to him :D

The amount of pikes you had woulda/shoulda/coulda more than balanced our awlpikes and long spears. Pike is super-counter to those anyway.

Our serial rage-respeccer was only lvl27 for Mijayet, which he got an earful about in advance, but I still hired him because I know he's still one of our best men. Now he's level 30 again. :rolleyes:

this is the best war yet in Strategus. Nothing decided yet, the Templars still got a good bite
