Actually that would be pretty cool. There's a crush through threshold in the game, so it wouldn't necessarily be unbalanced. If I remember correct, any item with a weight under this threshold has a much, much lower chance of crush through than the ones above. Even if they do the same damage. Currently in cRPG it's 2.4, but if we increased it to something higher, then the normal 2h/poles would have be able to crusthtrough, but only on the REALLY high damaging attacks and only against the really light weapons, while the mauls would still have enough weight to be the same as they are now. Not sure if i really want this, but it would be fun to test it out. I remember they had this in WFaS and the only time I managed to get a crusthrough was with a claymore on my cheating character and with a pike on one of my normal characters against a blocking horselancer. Guess it was mainly because of the speed bonus on the latter and the lulz damage on the former.

Ninjas will shed crocodile tears if that ever happens. Not to mention STR builds will become even stronger.

Its an idea for a more advanced version of the engine unless major rebalancing was done, especially to weight. I've suggested universal crusthrough and knockdown in the past, but it is unlikely at this point.

Before the great crushthrough nerf when barmace etc. lost their ability weapons like the (Spiked) Mace and Studded warclub had CT. Even a player with 13PS wasunable to crush anyones block with these weapons so its quite pointless adding it.

forget unbalanced, how bout making it so the first 1/3 of the weapon doesnt register hits, get rid of queer hiltslashing. The funny thing is with swords the first 1/3 of the blade typically isnt even sharpened
