I don't feel the need for athletics though... I don't need speed :d
And how come when I have 4 points left and I click on the + at one handed they all disapear?
Speed is the most important part of your character after the ability (not ammount) to do damage. Always max out athletics.
As for a 1h/arhcer hybrid, the one belove is probably the best. Seriously, some of the hybrid builds I saw here were some of the worst builds I've seen!
Level 30 (4 420 577 xp)
Strength: 18
Agility: 18
Skills to attributes: 2
Ironflesh: 5
Power Strike: 6
Athletics: 6
Power Draw: 6
Weapon Master: 6
One Handed: 104
Archery: 130
I used this one, and even with medium armour (blue tunic over mail and kettle helmet), I still had decent accuracy. Whenever I took the longbow, I even had AWESOME accuracy. The longshots where the only thing I had difficulty with (except with the longbow), but everything else is doable.
But if you don't want to respec and remove the shieldskill, then this might be the better archer/shielder build:
Level 30 (4 420 577 xp)
Strength: 18
Agility: 18
Skills to attributes: 2
Power Strike: 6
Shield: 5
Athletics: 6
Power Draw: 6
Weapon Master: 6
One Handed: 104
Archery: 130
Basically the same as the one above, but you lose the 10HP from the Ironflesh, but gain 5 shieldskill.
This is actually not a bad build. I tried it on an alt and while losing the extra health is kinda bad, the shield is actually pretty awesome. I also suggest you take a PROPER (that means 1 slot) one hander with both builds. Especially with the shielder one. The Round Steel Buckler is a 0 slot shield, so you can use a Arming Sword, Round Steel Buckler, a quiver AND a Long/Rus bow. Best of both worlds. Sure, the buckler wont block all projectiles coming at you, but against that you can just shoot back. The buckler is used against he melee guys. Although beware of axemen. The Buckler brakes preatty easily unless you got 8+ shieldskill (which you don't.
