Title: Constant Nerfing and Buffing needs to STOP

This constant nerfing and buffing is creating ridiculous confusion and lots and lots of tears. The community and item balance team need a break from the constant ups and downs to actually have a chance to adjust and test things out. I've heard there is a new system for ranged in the works that bumps body damage to 100% but decreases limb damage. My suggestion is to let this last change occur, since ranged is kind of screwed right now, and then to do NO nerfs OR buffs for 2-3 months to let things settle and allow people to adjust a bit.

EDIT: 5th option added for slowing nerfing and buffing.

Hi!  In the "Game Balance Discussion" section we've got another thread about the ranged stuff going, plus a poll. I got into more detail there. But as far as this thread's concerned, I agree that the rapidity and extremity of these buffs/nerfs are erratic and unbalancing.
If they're going to do higher body damage, lower limb damage, why not wait until a complete system is in place, post about it, get feedback and then implement? Why not give melee damage modifiers based on limb/body also?
Until they have a fully-formed system, it's just disruptive and irresponsible to dump these big changes on the players and leave us hanging until they've reworked a rash design.
My vote is that they revert ranged to prepatch values and take some extra time to figure out balance, instead of rushing things through to placate the QQers who can't be bothered to get behind shields or learn to run side-to-side.

I would love to see the devs do more tests and more thinking before releasing buffs/nerfs, that's all.

No problem with nerfs or buffs, IF they are well-through-out....

Why does a lone individual get to unilaterally make decisions circumventing a team that has done a good job balancing up to this point?

This is basically what pissed me off enough to actually make a post. There needs to be a break so that balance team can really have a chance to get a grip on the current situation, and then REALLY test new ideas.

Nerf and buff as fast as possible.
Being a 2 hander it almost never effects me in any way shape or form.

But from an occasional maul user nerf the hp damage from overhead breakthroughs,
skilled people will still be able to spam enough to get unstopped kills, and if you take an overhead 3 times in a row you have nobody to blaim but yourself.

Mr Donkey finally figured out that Paul&Fasader love duo is the crappiest item balancing team in the known universe.

Thank god for that.
