Title: Where is everybody?

Battle list is empty...only one war left and its on NA (Chaos vs ATS)... Forum wars have even died out ...( except for one thread only nocti and jambi find interesting) Its time to turn on each other people or turn strategus off...

Changes that were talked about did not come fast enough, or at all (gear is still stupid expensive, and horses are extinct). Interest was lost on a large scale.

For a long time there were large issues preventing wars from happening (losing equipment was a big thing).  And then chadz said he was most likely going to lower crafting costs by 50% so a lot of people were waiting for that. 

Strategus is basically dead, even though people are still going through the motions recruiting and crafting.

The problems need to be fixed, and needs a wipe.

Twas a nice concept, but in the wrong hands. But im afraid this mod will never rest in peace. So ill prolly stick around  8-)

I'm still going through the motions of crafting and trading but that's really just in case chadz decides to fix Strategus 3.0 without a reset.  6 months from now we might still be in Strategus 3.0 and I'm going to make sure NH has money in that event.

But long periods of completely broken features and no deliveries of promised changes killed it.

Still going through the motions as well. FCC killed themselves, and have converted to the way of the bundle of sticks (ie: star wars). This leaves me and a few survivors with not much to do but work on getting nice items and some cash.

I'm waiting for the next version of strat, in the hopes that Kesh and Co. will return AND BRING ABOUT A GLORIOUS NEW ERA IN--

I feel like one of the few that can quit playing Strat yet still enjoy standard cRPG...

I play strat only because I want that pink text, and because I love crafting kitten!

seriously, since LLJK don't have that many troop to waste use wisely in a massive way, strat is less interesting. face it, one army cost so much time, you don't want it to be destroy for nothing. the crafting thing is nice but badly need less random pink text of doom and less cost and maybe crafting two item instead of one.

Battles against 0 troops ... and almost all battles of any significance are on NA

Too much effort for too little reward. Fiefs give nothing, there isn't ticket compression (so battles last too long or you can't attack if the defence have too much tickets) bugs are worse then strat 1.0.
Carebear conspiracy teory is getting old, if more and more clans (including carebears) are leaving strat or seriously limiting their activity, is because strat atm isn't fun

Our clan completely died on strat over christmas/new year. We lost all gold due to troops eating it up and inactivity. Strat was boring before, now its completely dead.

Oh I forgot, yay to the death of strat. I hate it when my duel sessions get interrupted by dozens of fights.

Okay, not fully yay to the death of strat. The base idea has a lot of potential, but its hard to carry out. I do hope it will someday be more awesome, but for now I'd rather see the devs develop cRPG.

Strat is not dead. Well, at least not for Hosp and Occitan. Strat has it's problems this round but there is still plenty of fun to be had for clans who actually put up the effort.  We are more active now than ever, with new people coming in almost daily to join us in strategus.  The game is not without issues, but we have found a way to make our guys interested in the long term goals as a group, not individuals.

Strat is boring as hell without a purpose.  If a clan does not give their players a reason to grind these monotonous tasks, then the individuals will see the tasks as such and have little reason to log on every day.  If we give our members a goal and something to work towards  as a unit (a castle battle,) then our guys are more apt to log in and put in their part to make it happen for everybody.  Fun in this game is crafted by groups who can work together to make it as such.  Strategus is a team effort and becomes very dull when it is played as the individual.

I need to play some eu servers again. Had some good times there.  Played on the eu servers for awhile until Hosp was formed and we moved to NA.

So why do you feel the need to steal our recruits if you have people coming in almost daily? Lack skill, win in numbers eh?
