Why does the long spear and Pike take 3 slots if you can't even sheat them what is the point in that it's no realistic, i think i would be better if all the unsheatable would take 0 slots :?:
-
ahm no?Did you even play the game?
Pike and Long spear were OP with fewer slots because People could still bring a very good sideweapon if they liked. And tose long poles were good enough by themselves.
-
A slot is not just what can fit in your pockets...it's the overall burden your player can carry and still be effective in combat. If something is too heavy, too awkward, or too long...it takes more slots.
There is nothing wrong with the longest weapons taking more slots.

I like that longer weapons take more slots. I also like that some weapons are unsheathable (coming from someone who's mainly using a heavy lance on horseback). I think making long spears and pikes 3 slots was too much. 2 slots and unsheathable is good.
-
irrelevant poll, because it is of no importance if its realistic, it is necessary.
-
You know what would be interesting, if armour with a weight of 21.1 or more took up a slot.
-
You can still drop the 3slot pike and pick your 1slot weapon when in close combat.
-
Please make bec take 5 slots.

make flamberg use 3 slots and great maul too , and remove katana and japanese shit :)

This for sure. It's bad enough that we have the flamberge to start with since it's a typical Zweihänder, i.e. 16th century long-blade "polearm". It's imba as it is, if one can afford to use it.

The great maul REALLY needs to be 3 slots. The fact that you can carry a good 2hander with it is ridiculous. Because of that, you get all of the benefits of having a great maul but no draw backs. In my opinion, all support weapons should be 3 slots.

I was fine with pike or long spear taking 3 slots, but i was less happy with the unbalanced. I know, it makes sense, but atleast up the speed or damage atleast.
The unbalanced is annoying when i 180 stab to a horse behind me, to find it is a friendly cav. I can look away but sometimes this has costed me a allied cav.
-
Not really a case for realism... It's game balance and it's balance breaking allowing a pikeman to run around with a pike, 2 hander, crossbow & bolts. Completely game breaking in fact.
You want to go pikeman, take a 1 hander.

If you allow people like Malke TKoV ( who uses the game's broken mechanics to get 90% of his kills ) to get a 2nd weapon, then they will become very OP.
