It reads "200,000" gold as "200" gold. If your field can't interpret commas, why not throw an error?
There are some bugs on the marketplace that will utterly screw you over in a matter of seconds. Here are the ones I know about
Do not for any reason use a period or comma in your gold prices when posting it on the actual marketplace
Prices like 1,200,000 will read only as 1 gold, meaning that masterwork will get snatched by someone who sees it before you even realize what you did. Use straight numbers, like if you are selling an item for 800,000 take that comma out, you want to put it down for 800000 or else it will cut off at the comma and post on the actually marketplace for 800 gold.
Instead of immediately insulting the person who bought your item why not contact him and explain the mistake.
What do you know, a stickied thread in the marketplace forum tells you exactly what will screw you.

Since we all know that's worked in the past
I think the admins here think a little too highly of the community.
You think the guy honestly thought I wanted to sell the loom for only 200 gold?
Buncha Einsteins for admins I tell ya.

It reads "200,000" gold as "200" gold. If your field can't interpret commas, why not throw an error?Instead of insulting someone, just learn mathematics again.
Got nabbed in seconds before I could realize my error.
Kojot, if you're reading this, bravo and fuck you.
Well, to be fair i think in the US you use periods for fractional digits and commas to make large numbers more readable.
I might be misinformed though.
Anyway if i understood this correctly . and , was causing this.
Also Espu is fixing it.

Stop using comas to spilt thousands problem solved. Use dots like real ppl
People in America use Commas
Yeah but bro, Europeans use dots and only real men use dots.
Fuk 'Murika, the european way is the right way.
Also, internationally you should use 200.000 and not 200,000 yknow
edit: Meow was faster. Damn Communists talking about mathematics...
Yeah, we OBVIOUSLY do!This is why I love Meow! And tell Shik to unban me from da IRC It was funny at first but comon now perma ban for saying I took an arrow to the knee realy....
Normal people would PM the person and nicely ask for the item back.
A lot of people actually grab those items off the market and return them...
Good luck!
Bug needs to be fixed though...
Also i will PM the dude...
After researching a bit further... i'll PM you

Sorry, who made the Euro method the international standard?

This thread is now officially an NA vs EU thread.

I'm assuming they use a simple CSV (excel) file to keep track of all the marketplace happenings. You can't use comma's in CSV files or it fucks things up.
Always has been, the americunts just decided to move to a big island, kill all the people there then create there own fucked up system for everything. Even though it makes no sense..they just want to be special.
Next thing you're gonna tell us you're using Access...
One thing that could possibly be the shazam behind the marketplace: a SQL Database - which you could export as a csv ofc
is Canada the only country to just put a space between number?
1 000 000 : 1 million
1 000 000 000 : 1 milliard
1 000 000 000 000: 1 billion
etc...
as always Canada have the perfect alternative!
it's way more simple
