I just bump what was suggested already on Taleworlds forum 2-3 months ago.
This is almost the same as Battle mode but much more dynamic due to objectives.
Advantages:
- more teamwork
- no more boring rounds when both team decide to camp tower/hill till MoF and then MoF failed.

link that post for us, there's a helpful chap :P

You forget that nobody has ever played S&D, except people that played the warband beta. So for those that don't know: S&D is basically battle, except one team (the defenders) have to protect a destroyable catapult and trebuchet, the attackers have to destroy those objectives. You win by either destroying, protecting or just slaughtering the enemy team.
Oh and +1, I'd like to see this mode make a comeback.

Thats great! Its like what most of the FPS games are migrating over to on all of the ladder systems as well. It prevents draws, so it id perfectly suited for team laddering and gamelplay. I didnt know MWB had this built in !

+1 I like the idea, it would mean less camping and more action

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE INTEL GETS SHOT TO HELL FROM LANCES AND SHIT

+1 for S&D mode !
And if you're at it, create an "attack & defense" mode where the two teams have objectives to destroy and to defend.

Pls tell me you don't have to plant a bomb next to a trebuchet. That would be... Terrible
edit : I was thinking about how that would be implemented. Would it be destroy an objective or do something to destroy an obj? If the first then I might as well use a ninja lancer...

You hit it, just like doors. hitpoints scale with the amount of players.

+1
But just a note: this mode tends to get repetitive after a while when objectives are set (catapults always in same locations).
Other than that, I very much enjoyed this mode for a while, even more so than Battle.
ps: It is called "Fight and Destroy".
