Just wondering if admins can do a check for hax and things for this week and over the weekend.
Lot of crazy shit going on that doesn't make sense
At fifteen, I had the will to learn ; at thirty, I could stand ; at forty, I had no doubts ; at fifty, I understood the heavenly Bidding ; at sixty, my ears were opened ; at seventy, I could do as my heart lusted without trespassing from the square.

What, I don't think I ever saw anyone cheating or if they were, they were complete noobs anyway so what does it matter?
-
Moderators and company need to not be so nice about removing bans and enforce that shit. That way less people will pick up hax and ruin everyone else's gaming experience on their days off.
-
2 days ago one guy blocked every single attack from 4 ppl even they all attack at same time he still somehow to block their attacks.
-
i have to say I've noticed a few recently as well.

There are a lot of lucky things that go on, people are not necessarily hacking. The probability that they could do these things my mistake or fluke is low but it's probability enough that it could just happen. If you watched this player successfully block every single incoming attack for 2 minutes straight then you could assume that they either some insane, never before seen skill or they were hacking. I mean for example, yesterday I chambered two overheads with the same swing by fluke, the guys just happened to swing at the same time and I happened to only notice one, doesn't mean it's hacks.
Also, with regards to the "don't be so nice to the hackers" I don't think they will be this time round to be honest. First one was a warning run, each time they're getting more and more harsh, I think by this point, if you think you can hack the game after what happens you deserve to be banned for idiocy and therefore I don't think that the devs will give anymore chances to people who think that they can use the autoblockers without getting caught.

Talesworld never did anything against haxor, we should be glad that cRPG devs team do something.
Anyway, native is dead, and this game would be dead without cRPG.
-
really sometimes it is just luck, one time i basically instablocked a left swing immediatly after a right swing. people were all like OMG HAX but it was just luck
-
Used to be able to spam block.

There are up to 100 people at 22nd seige all the time. I personally hate clusterfucks, but it proves that people are playing.
And this game would not be dead without cRPG. Me and a lot of others have been playing M&B since 2005-2006, and I would never quit just becuase cRPG went down or something. I would play less, but not quit.

Hey, that guy blocked twice in a row, even though he's an archer ! Hax ! Ban him !
How dare that archer has better blocking than me, it can't be skillz, it's obviously hax !
Been playing quite a bit on eu1 recently, didn't notice any obvious hackers.
Admins checking again for hax doesn't hurt though. But it probably takes time.

I haven't seen any cheaters on BF3 yet, to be honest.

Really the gaming industry as a whole should get on Microsoft's back about this. Windows as a gaming platform is still big business, but it's going to be dead in the water if something definitive can't be done about the hacks.
And I think Microsoft would be well positioned to come up with some pretty definitive fixes. Really, the means of hacking are things provided intentionally by the operating system as a means of debugging. Hacking isn't really that clever when you realize the tools for it are there on purpose. Microsoft giveth, and Microsoft can taketh away. Programs could be run inside protected, virtual machines. Memory protection could exist at the hardware level. A squad of people could hunt down the handful of people who actually create these hacks, give them cement galoshes and push them overboard into the English Channel, Osama Bin Laden style, and their mothers would never find out how their dear, 28 year old college dropout vanished from the basement. I'm just brainstorming. I'm sure there's a solution that would work.
After RealTime Worlds got put into bankruptcy because of videogame hacks, with millions of dollars lost and actual people losing actual jobs as a result, you'd think maybe the game makers of the world would realize it's no longer a little side issue that they can laugh off.
Now it's costing jobs and money.
Cement galoshes. I'm just sayin'.

nah, there is a real cheating problem, in the beta there were examples of 3d radars that let you see enemies everywhere on the map. All you have to do is browse google to find hacks for bf3. Sometimes you see people getting 3-4 headshots in less than 2 seconds and its hard to believe that was skill/luck. The problem is, Punkbuster doesn't seem to be working well, me and my friends get kicked constantly.

Yes, that "kicked from the server by an administrator" is a punkbuster issue. You have a message on Battlelog now on how to update your Punkbuster so it doesn't kick you off anymore.
The message is gone now though, I can't locate the thread anymore D:
Also, check if Punkbuster is disabled ingame. Better use the Battlefield 3 topic for this too.

blocking multiple enemies isn't that hard for good players..
maybe you were spec-ing a good player?
-
It's possible granted they're not attacking simultaneously in different directions.

Have to say, i feel like iv noticed alot of autoblockers this past few weeks... whenever i feel like i see one i just start to spam feints.... not sure if this even works but it seems like their characters wig out and block in the direction of every feint. I know alot of good players can see the feints and block in the direction of some of them, hell i can do a few, but come on, all of them? Would be nice if the admins could check for it, it really should be a weekly thing. (not sure if it already is)

The way we take care of cheaters, reporting them is completely useless. Stop the witch hunt.
