Am i the only one who thinks the OP is actually at wrong here ? :shock:after a while a guy PMed me and told me he'd pay me 450 if I heirloom a hourglass for him (for the time being I can't point out his ID)

Usually, you buy loompoints to heirloom your already heirloom stuff, to a higher level. Aka, my +2 weapon to a +3, or my +1 armor to a +2. I don't see why anyone would buy a heirloom point to get a +1 item from it. At 450k... seriously.
As i see it, this guy (ID unknown) asked if you could heirloom a hourglass (take attention that it's not decided if it would be from 0 to +1, or +1 to +2, or +2 to +3, no indication), and THEN the OP just heirloom his OWN hourglass from 0 to +1, and ask 450k for it.
I'm sorry, but most (if not all) heirloom points, are this sort of deal :
Seller selling heirloom pont for 450k. Buyer accepting offer.
Buyer selling his +1 or +2 item at whatever price (normal price + 200k).
Seller buying it, then heirlooming it.
Seller selling the +2 or +3 item at 450k+price at wich he bought it.
Buyer buying it.
The END.
There's also other sort, like Seller offering a torch for the +1 or +2 item and 450k, then buyer offering a torch for the +2 or +3 item (if you have complete faith in Seller). But the point is, it's not a +1 item at the end. No point in buying an heirloom point for 450k for a mere +1. :S
It's not precised in the topic, so instead of going all "Oh, rage, that damn guy, scammer, whatever", i'd like to side with the buyer, following my arguments, since we definitely don't have enough information about this trade.
Though if the initial buyer is ready to buy the +1 hourglass, then maybe it's indeed what he wanted, then he's at fault, definitely. Or he thought screw that, and he "lended" his +1 or +2 to a friend, and is gonna buy this +1, but at a normal +1 price.
