For now it seems Varyag was attacked by a rouge not in the BIA clan but in Drz Faction.
Drz wont have anything to do with this person and Bia says hes no longer in the clan. ivani4 or whatever is now on the our blacklist.

We had no throwing axes. They were hatchets. Al in all with our cheap equip and half the enemy team in terms of numbers and players, we killed the same amount as we lost. I take it as a victory.

132 tickets left in village, check on battle list. 687 mercs died (53 retreated) vs 368 peasants died in village - its almost 2:1 KD for the village, I think its the worst battle i've seen so far on this strategus. even The Union had 22 merc slots with 450 tickets, fighting against 65-70ppl and they did KD 1:1, and also they had ligher armor if i remember well
your battle looked like a beating

It also says Phazh has a 255:29 kill death ratio, somethings a miss, no, there was around 50 tickets left on each side when we retreated, and it was well over 2 to 1 roster, worse battle you've seen in strat, we would have smashed them if it was equal numbers, there was just too many of them, the second you spawned you were killed by an archer, we were just overwhelmed by numbers, we did pretty well considering the difference in players, you're a fucking idiot mate...

You think, from what i've read it sounds like quite a few clans have had trouble, it's obviously gonna be alot easier once you take your first village, the battles i've participated in were 1 defence against DRZ, where there were a similar amount of players on both sides, DRZ lost quite a few troops, but had it easier due to the fact they didn't have to fight 3 - 1, then i participated in a Wolves battle, helping them, and they were up against a bigger roster, which they were also spawn raped, how can you sign up to the forums today and come straight here and gloat, you're a fucking troll...

That battle just shows that the current system doesn't work as intended. I couldn't even reload my crossbow, because i had at least 3 archers shooting at me in the same time. When we fought against Druzhina it was like 30+ against 50+ and we've almost got their spawns, but they didn't get switched off (only some of them, i know the reason, don't type it here) and there was no organization on the defending side PLUS i couldn't spawn with weapons (as some other players), weapon rack didn't fix the problem as well. Always spawned only with the armour but without weapon (no matter what i've tried to pick)

10-25 Lizard, you didn't help much with the whole losing part either.

But uhh, nice try. Maybe next time you guys should take your spawn and put up walls to protect your xbow reloaders and archers. That way they will have you run TO you from spawn while you spawn on your spawn giving you a huge advantage and just slowly take out their tickets. That seems like the best plan if your that "outnumbered".

We spawned, moved up a hill, they charged our spawn, we ran back, and from there on we were fighting on top of our spawn, eventually been overwhelmed, they just kept coming and coming, all this whilst under heavy fire from archers that had took the hill, spawn, dead, spawn, dead, spawn, dead, it's not exactly easy getting a good kill death ratio under these circumstances...

System was good. Giving the defenders a slight chance to win, making village sieges a bit more competitive and boosting defenders' interest. Yes, it's 30 vs 70 but teamplay makes the difference.
It worked bad only on maps with very close spawns.
Too bad they changed it to 50 again, I just hope that it was not the result of mercs' tears.

Ernesto, don't be idiot saying that mercs suck. They have very good squad with skillfull fighters and experienced commanders.

The slot increase should really ONLY go with a buff to villages, either in terms of troops or equipment, a slight percentage buff all the way up on fiefs in general would be good and force people to prepare more instead of just spamming troops and using low-end crap equipment .

The payment should have various factors though, or at least one.

For example:

If the Village is lost, no defender is paid (no one left to pay). If the Village win, they're rewarded well based on either one or more factors.

However, given the economy in Strategus at the moment I really don't think people should earn more than ~300 gold for a win.

It would be weird if everyone is paid the same for a defense though, some might just have been wasting tickets.

A solution would be the old gold earning system, where kills in range = gold, just scale it depending on the amount of troops so no one is earning tons of golds with a 20k troops attacking. Others have already suggested that though, and it is not the best solution.

I personally like Plazek's idea best, the Communist XP route (http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,19297.msg275426.html#msg275426). It should also ensure that people actually Vote-Ban those who waste tickets. It is a team effort to take a village or defend it, sharing everything would be the right way to go, at least for neutral villages.

A bonus for successfully defending a neutral fief is not a bad idea at all Nebun, because no matter what a neutral fief will always be harder to defend since everyone can sign-up. The attackers should always be the best organized and disciplined force on the field.

Excellent suggestion. It should also get more people interested in defending the neutral fiefs, and by that force attackers to prepare better in many aspects (gear mostly hopefully).
