Title: Characters cannot contract syphilis

Just a point to note.  If we're aiming for quasi-medieval realism we ought to have some syphilis floating about.

this forum is weird

I think this would fit nicely with my suggestion for horses to poop.

The problem with STD's isn't that we cannot contract them, I believe, but simply that they have not yet been released into the population for spreading.

In the middle ages women never picked up crossbows and shot people in the face either. But I definitely do that.

Actually, busting out the APUSH nerd here, Syphillis was a New World disease that was transferred well after the Medieval Periods. Try something else like Bubonic Plague for realism.

Acctualy cool idea, but not in battles or whatever, it would be fucking amazing in strategus, lets say, 1 city/village/town/whatever gets disease once 5/7 days or smt, and in period of disease, every day, some citizens or troops die, after that, that disease travels to another city and so on...! It could destroy 1/4 of towns people and troops, so less defending...
