... does it mean you are now able to fix polestun?
-
How would you make it so polestun is "fixed?"
Reduce it to the levels of other weapons? Make it long, but slightly decrease the time so someone can block more easily afterwards? Prevent the game from stunning you that long more than once?
Stun is really powerful, even moreso than the actual damage it inflicts a lot of the time. I'm all for making it the same as other weapons. Not sure if others feel the same way.

We have ideas for it.

Paul, what about making the stagger duration be a function of damage inflicted and/or weapon weight for all weapons?
i.e. slow, heavy weapons inflict longer stagger, wimpy weapons short stagger.

You are using bardiche, right? :D
I think blockstun, its enough advantage for heavy polearms.

block stun is random, isn't reliable in a real battle.

I would prefer this.

Polestun is only reasonable for spears. Getting staggered by a bec swing is just silly.

Yeah, I use a Long Bardiche with 11PS, and hell yes, I think an overhead from a giant axe should take longer to recover from than being bonked with the shaft of a spear.

I think you guys might have to pull off another chain comments with enlarged, bolded letters of STFU again in order for people to understand

People recover from a long bardiche hit with 11 ps?
Shit :O

Yes, a Mighty one at that. Just the other day, I had a naked guy survive a hit and an archer in light leather require 2 swings+ a thrust to kill. Granted, that was with 10 PS (11 PS is the lvl 30 build), but still.
Cut damage has been weird that way ever since the last patch. You won't hear Bec/Maul users with 10+ PS complaining about how many swings it takes to drop people in cloth/leather.

Hell no I looted a masterwork Bec a few days ago, 1 hit kill galore.
