I would agree with this for Neutral fiefs only, naturally. Either have them set up, or provide defense with the materials to make them.

Defenders are under protection of the castle, it's a BIG advantage and you want to give them another one, it's not a good idea, Ujin.

Castles in Strategus should be substantially harder to take. They are castles.

Not that big of an advantage. Simply build a catapult and a few shots later and you have a clear entrance.

Exactly. Now that the catapults work castles are too easy to take, sometimes the attackers even get a positive k/d which is plain ridiculous. A default healing tent for all castle defences would add at least some balance, + it would also add at least some dynamics for melee defenders who otherwise have to either stay behind the walls for half an hour or jump out and die like idiots. "Get shot - run to the tent" is at least slightly better than "jump out- waste a ticket, wait a bit, repeat" or "elevator music....... 10-15 minutes and they're gonna charge".

It;s also somewhat realistic because any besieged castle /town used to have population which helped the men fighting on the walls, including treating the wounds .

Yeah...I personally believe walls come down to easily to catapults now. It doesn't actually take many shots and they are very easy to aim. With the HP boost they also take a long time to kill with ranged fire + add a few shielders/siege shields and you can keep them protected. I'd like to see walls taking a bit longer to go down so the enemy has to spend more time trying to take walls in different ways.

But I do like this tent idea.

I agree with this. Otherwise it is the duty of the owner to protect his land.

Don't be ridiculous, this suggestion was meant for neutral fiefs .
