Basically as I understand it, it is a program you run in the background with warband which allows for things which are hardcoded to be changed. Such as... polestun.

I heard the problem is steam release, WSE works very well with warband but not with warband steam release.

Is that why WSE is not arlready implemented?

Added Steam support ~6 months ago.

I think it's because we wait the "last" warband patch, so it can be ported for cRPG usage.

Guess if a new version would come out, compatibility issues happen.

I might be wrong though.

Don't think there will be another Warband patch. Devs seem to have abandoned the game.

Ah, I hope that means a Warband sequel indev.

And not that they left supporting this for that fire and sword bullshit.

Its been hinted at several times that the warband devs are working on a sequel. Another dev team made fire and sword, with the taleworlds crew helping to fix some of the hundreds of bugs it released with. Mountain Blade 2 is probably still a long way off.

It exist since quite a while, although I'm always working on new features. It hasn't yet been added to cRPG because that requires code changes and probably a better distribution system too.
However, we'll be soon testing some server-side-only features (one of them being the removal of botched hit detection for allies).

I doubt the dev team can answer such questions.

I´d like some kind of firestone as a 1slot item for archers, which makes arrows burn and adds some damage or even burn damage over time :D

a description of what you are actually doing with the WSE in each video would be nice.

also fire arrows are a hollywood invention and not realistic

You must be trolling, or really oblivious to sun tzu and any type of ancient warfare, like really oblivious.

Sun Tzu INVENTED fire arrows, he used it in most of his military operations, spouting random nonsense is why people are so unknown about medieval technology, like knights we're big bunking brutes that when they fell down they needed help to get up.

fire arrows, were mostly intended to set thing alite, but almost every castle had wooden parts, and houses in it and they were used in battles too.

Have you not heard of Mount&Blade: With Fire & Sword? It's been out a while now.

I'm pretty sure it's already been mentioned that it's highly unlikely for cRPG to go to a different version of the game.

wFaS isn't really a new version of warband, it is set in a completely different setting. i meant another mediavel period M&B.

Never seen a pikeman/2h thrusting into the ground then tilting his cam upwards to inflict full damage at facehug range ?

Hm, no, i've only seen them rotating, strange  :?. However i can understand that that is annoying.

And i do not see any reason not to add it in.
