What he said.
Standard, super accurate HA build. It's frustrating as hell for quite a long time (crappy archery, no horse, then crappy aim on a horse). But once you get to 3HA and level 28 or so it's pure win :D You'll need to convert skill points to atrribute points in order to hit that wonderful 24 agility which allows that 4 HA.
However, it does lack strength. You're arrows won't do a huge amount of damage. More than adequate for knocking out people who are already injured. It's for this reason that Marathon (NA horse archer) recommends a 27/12 build. However, your accuracy will seriously suffer with this build:
Here's the exact stats:
(Accurate)
Level 30 (4 420 577 xp)
Strength: 15
Agility: 24
Hit points: 50
Skills to attributes: 8
Ironflesh: 0
Power Strike: 0
Shield: 0
Athletics: 0
Riding: 6
Horse Archery: 4
Power Draw: 5
Power Throw: 0
Weapon Master: 8
One Handed: 1
Two Handed: 1
Polearm: 1
Archery: 173
Crossbow: 1
Throwing: 1
(Stronger)
Level 30 (4 420 577 xp)
Strength: 27
Agility: 12
Hit points: 62
Skills to attributes: 8
Ironflesh: 0
Power Strike: 0
Shield: 0
Athletics: 4
Riding: 4
Horse Archery: 2
Power Draw: 9
Power Throw: 0
Weapon Master: 4
One Handed: 1
Two Handed: 1
Polearm: 1
Archery: 139
Crossbow: 1
Throwing: 1

Thankyou guys for your help.
I suppose if its all worth it it will be worth while grinding til level 28 then lol
I hope I don't GTX before that happens
-
Haha I've done it for 6 gens now. Trust it's worth it. HA is a lot of fun, though don't be surprised if you get a lot of hate. It's the most despised class in the game. Don't let that put you off :P I hope one day I shall get to shoot arrows at you from my own horse :D
O and the 'skill to attributes: 8' bit means you need to convert 2 skill points 4 times. That bit always makes me nervous cause I have a fear of screwing up and only having 3 HA and 7 WM.
-
Yeah, I always do skill conversions first when leveling is easy and fast so I won't forget later on how many points I converted.
And with 2 HA you're not so much a HA then an archer on a horse. 3 HA is somewhat better, but its not until 4 HA that the accuracy penalty isn't very noticeable.

Yeah I've learnt that lesson 2 gens ago, lol
I now know what it means :p

I just stopped retiring now since i have pretty much everything heirloomed i would want to
I kept the 15/24 and just converted all stat points to skill points i did 5ps and now have 3ath
really makes the HA much more versitile. I get alot of kills with my elite scimmy
-
What equipment should I use, like bows, arrows, armour, etc?
-
Horn bow is most popular.
any arrows are good.
try to heirloom bow and arrows though.
Any horse is good, mostly personal taste.
I like arabian for manouverability and cataphract for when up against too many archers.
armor i would suggest mid level armor
weapon a good length 1hander -

any heirloom level? or does it need to be mw?
