I'm almost afraid to ask a question:
How much gold per troop or is that a secret?(click to show/hide)
Q: what's'the interest of castle since you can't take pop from fief anymore?
A few questions....When you travel to a fief and get close enough, it'll say on the left, "You are in the vicinity of <insert fief>". If you click on that link, you'll then have the option near the bottom to "Enter <fief name>".
How do I enter a fief? How do I apply to join a faction?
Will recruiting and working be apparent when i enter a fief?
...another VERY basic question, lol... old Hirlok never played in Strat before...
The time battles are scheduled - is that c-rpg time or local time???
Just asking because in the battle list there are several that should be over for hours already according to c-rpg time... and of course I do not want to miss my first strat battle... :?
In order to see the correct Battle times under your "Battle" tab on c-rpg.net, go to your "Settings" tab and make sure your Timezone difference is right.
Q: How do I gain strategus gold?
A: Currently, you can gain strategus gold by working inside of settlements or by playing cRPG.
....hmmmm.... so dem bloody villages charge me 100 per hour and I make 3 per hour... does not exactly work out into "gaining" gold... Or did I miss the point of the "earn money" option?
do you have to actively renew your task, recruiting troops or earning gold, every 24 hours?
I was told this by former clan mates but didnt seem to notice it myself.
Question: Why does nobody own any towns? Not coded in yet or people are just too afraid to attack?Towns? You mean cities? Those aren't worth the 20k troops.
It says you can gain money by playing crpg, but my crpg character has a diferent amount of gold than my strat character, and I haven't been able to figure out how they're connected.
I think it's something like 1 strat gold = 35 cRPG gold
silly question. the times displayed on the battle page. Are they in server time or are they adjusted (for timezone) time?
Crafting guide:
There are 2 different crafting values: The first percentage is a general percentage for this fief. It's a general yes or no random pick per hour. If this is 100%, you will get to stage 2 every hour. If this is at 0%, you will never produce anything
Then you can decide what to craft. Trading goods (the first entry) are always 100% and you always get +1. Production of those always costs the good price in the village divided by 2. You can either sell them directly to the village (low profit), sell them to a nearby village/castle/town with a higher price, or sell them to other merchants.
Then you can also produce items, accordin to your smithing skill. Smithing skill is defined by the mysterious text within crpg.
The percentage means two things: first, it means you can produce a good cheaper than buying it. When an item costs 500 gold to buy, and you have 10% smithing skill in it, you can produce it for 450 gold. Apart from that, the skill also defines how many items you produce per hour. Every hour, there is a random chance of 15% per smithing skill to produce it. so with a smithing skill of 10, you have to chances against 15% to produce the item, so you will probably get 1 or 2 of those items. You only pay when you succeed in smithing, but you pay for every item you succeed. Only produce items if you need them or you know someone who pays you more for it than it costs you to produce it. Selling it to the bank will not give you profit.
Note: this is all a work in progress, especially the crafting thing. I feel it doesn't reward enough for the smithing skill, so it will probably be somehow changed.
How do the autowin victories occur?
For example if you move across map with no troops and someone attacks you. Are you then instantly teleported or does it take 24h to lose? Are attackers locked in place at all?
There are no autowin victories, unless someone attacks you with much less troops, in which case it is an auto lose for the attacker, the defender can never autolose. All other rules apply.
Therefore it is probably better to have a caravan with many troops so that way fewer people can actually engage you.
You can defend with 300 against 10,000, but you cannot attack.
You cannot carry more than one trade good at a time.
You should already see their night time if you can see the option to "attack." There is an option to cancel if you make a mistake.
so your saying if someone has 0 troops attacker still waits 24 hours to move again? If I remember correctly, if you got 0 troops you gain 1 troop to defend yourself. So they still have to wait the 24 hours and fight.
so your saying if someone has 0 troops attacker still waits 24 hours to move again?
Question?: the ability to travel across the water requires a boat? will boats become available only after capturing a coastal town? will owned fiefs or castles be able to make boats? and finally, how many troops/equipment/goods will fit on a boat, and how fast is it?
Oh and i think we would all eventually like to know something about roads
if their is a post on this then plz do tell
Dream on :D You simply can't go across water including rivers. Roads does not exist. It would be great to see these things though...
well im pretty sure chadz stated these things would b added... just wanted to get a heads up on when where an how for preperation purposes :(
Q: What is the time limit on the transfer window? Why does it say my transaction failed?this seems to be out of date when it comes to attackers, wich only seem to have 2 hours to reinforce.
A: The time limit is the time of the battle minus 19 hours. For example, if you attacked at 1:00 AM on Friday, and the battle is at 1:00 AM on Saturday, then you have up until Friday 6:00 AM to transfer troops and gold. If the battle is at 2:00 AM on Saturday, then you have until Friday, 7:00 AM
this seems to be out of date when it comes to attackers, wich only seem to have 2 hours to reinforce.yes yes and yes
for defenders it's still the same.
do you have to own castle for troop upkeep to be reduced? and is it HALVED or some other weird formula?
IE..you could have army of 89 in castle without upkeep?
ok...it's been a week and i really can't tell my character has moved at all since starting strategus and i've even had quick march activated....is there some sort of pathing issue where if you click on a city and a curve of a river appears it hinders the movement? i feel like i'm missing something important here...
You can't walk over rivers, the only way to pass over one is on a bridge. If you can't see what direction you need to move to get away from the water, click on "zoom" in the Strategus Action Menu and it'll show were you are in relation to the water. You're a tiny red dot in the center, water is aqua color and land is green.
just a quick Q..
do i gain gold to my crpg char from my strategus char???
I am mega confused. Dont know what to download. Some files cant be downloaded. And if i download other it doesn work. I got older version and that work now i cant drive around world zooming. So if somebody could give link for most new function versions ill be thankfull.wrong section mate.
Ok updated the mirror.
This is the cRPG 0.241 full download with all patches applied.
Go to your /Mount&Blade Warband/Modules/ folder and delete the cRPG folder in there.
Download http://road-house.org/crpgmirror/cRPG241.zip
Extract into /Mount&Blade Warband/Modules/ so you have a new cRPG folder in there.
Hope it works out for you.
One crate takes 30kg. Two men or one horse can carry a crate without additional penalty. Trading goods have a weight of 5.
How can i change faction color?only a strat faction leader (rank 10) can do that.
only a strat faction leader (rank 10) can do that.
What's the speed for quick march and how long does it last? Also, how long is the cool down afterwards?
I think it is double speed or close to that and it lasts for 300 minutes. Exhaustion last for 450 minutes I think and I don't know how much it slows you down, but it is significant.quickmarch = +140% for 300min
8-)
quickmarch = +140% for 300min
exhaustion = -50% for 480min
thats odd, i usually get 480min ^^
Thanks for the responses. I did a quick march with 312 troops and the exhaustion was up in the high 600 range, so more troops must mean a longer recovery.ah interesting, actually makes sense too, nice feature.
http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,21571.0.html (http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,21571.0.html)the time limit depends on the battle size (even though this should be a tad higher than the current one, it's to short for big battles).
http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,22008.15.html (http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,22008.15.html)
Does this time limit for attackers (discussed in threads above) apply to both attacks on villages and normal field battles? Also, to confirm, the time limit is one hour?
For example: If I'm attacked by bandits, could I just ride around them on my rouncey until the time expires?
Delaying?Riding around, screaming "FUCK THE POLICE!"? That sums up 90% of my time spent in Nord Invasion Mod :D
If someone attack a merchamt he should atleast have the required item to stop a merchant on his horse (cav or ranged) if not why do you attack a fast merchant?
Riding around, screaming "FUCK THE POLICE!"? That sums up 90% of my time spent in Nord Invasion Mod :Doh tried it out for 2 days, damn it's awsome.
ah interesting, actually makes sense too, nice feature.
It doesn't really. Each individual's exhaustion is not cumulative in a group. If one person can recover in 5 hours, then 5 (or 100) people should be able to recover in one hour.
I am just starting to play Strategus
what it means?: Equipment:unarmed
I have:how to change it?(click to show/hide)
I have 5 troops
Q: How do I start a raid
I don't want to attack a fief just raid it, or does it give me a option in the action menu?
Yeah you have to attack and then switch the attack type I believe.
Does this mean I can also raid cities? ( Anyone on Strat can confirm this? since I don't want to lose my troops to a useless battle)
You cannot raid Cities, Castles, or any AI fiefs....but you CAN raid towns and castles too, as long as they are player owned. It's only the AI who can't be raided.

...but you CAN raid towns and castles too, as long as they are player owned. It's only the AI who can't be raided.
Oh? Welp!Yeah. Unless I remember completely wrong and am an idiot to not double check it. Might be that castles and towns are too badass to raid. They would definitely be hard to raid even if you CAN raid them.
Question! What chadz said was that faster horses gives you a bigger bonus. Don't know if he was talking about loomed horses, but a courser would give you a better speed than
Do faster in game horses give you a bigger speed bonus in strat?
ie +3 Courser?
sumpter = 1.3 bonusDerp. Guess I remembered wrong. Although I remember someone asking if the armoured horses are considered "slow" as well. Did we get an answer to that?
all other horses = 1.8 bonus
why i cant convent my strat gold into crpg? im in Big town
Does my character in cRPG get any xp from Strategus actions (fighting etc.)? And how much if yes?
Q: Can I convert strategus gold into cRPG gold?1. I am not able to do this, do I have to own the fief or why can't I do that?
A: Yes, in large towns you will have to option to "send money to relatives"
I have two questions:1: it has been deactivated a while ago.
1. I am not able to do this, do I have to own the fief or why can't I do that?
2. If you apply and you are accepted in a battle or siege, are you going to get your reward in strategus gold or in cRPG gold? Because I already played in many battles and won sometimes but I never got the requested gold.
where can you look up a faction's roster? Besides the "battles" tab?i don't get the question . Pls elaborate.
When does the unarmed change to lightly armed, armed, and heavily armed status? My party has been unarmed. I bought some axes and swords but the status is still unarmed.the system doesn't always update, try to move or transfer something to a teammate. About the figures, not sure about the exact numbers, just that armor counts for more, of the weight . Just test it out and you'll get the hang of it ;-)
i don't get the question . Pls elaborate.
He wants to know how to view faction's rosters without clicking 18 times and going through back doors. Is there any other place to view them besides going to http://c-rpg.net click on the battles tab, click a battle, click a faction, then at the top click on the faction tab, and then you can look at factions here, if you click on one it shows you their roster.
What the percent on getting ATHW already at lvl 30 still haven't gotten it ;_;its totally random and is archievable from lvl 1-30.
i have 65 tickets, enemy have 1 is this battle gonna even happen? i don't want to get up in 4:27 in the morning for nothing.
why do i losed one horse? Enemy didn't showed up,so i rided to his flags and captured them and get back to my horse, and now i lost one. Why?its a known bug.
''You have to select a main char first. ''
I am logged in @c-rpg.net with my main character? Now what?
my employee is responsible for getting me equipment etc.
I have been looking all over, trying to figure everything out before investing time into strat. Haven't seen an answer anywhere. In a strategus battle does your character have the skill set / levels of your main character? if the owner of an army is handing out bows and you don't have power draw, are you hosed?
What is wrong with this crafting option, no matter what item I try to craft, no matter how much money I have, it just changes back to begging in a minute. (Jelkala is where I am at the moment)
What should I do so I could actually start using strategus more efficiently?
You need to play cRPG and get the experience ticks in order to craft/recruit in Strategus.
Would someone PLEASE answer how to change faction colour??? I mean its only been asked at least 2x before. I know there are codes for the colours but I don't know where to find them!
First go to the map.
Now click on your factions name in the top right.
Now click the colour and add in the HEX code.

Q: Do i get strategus gold only by playing crpg with my main or also with alts ?yes but its very low, something like 1 strat gold per tick at x2, u get it no matter what char your playing.
Q: I have been attacked! What can I do? What can't I do?pls correct this part, since u cant buy/sell anything outside an fief.
A: You can buy equipment for your troops up until the time of the battle. You cannot move. You cannot transfer.
How do I locate myself on the map when I first enter with a new character?
There is no "center on character" button so I don't know where I am.
I have tried to "enter xxx town" on a few locations (if I can choose my own starting posistion?). This doesn't work.
"WARNING: You are not inside a fief! Get shelter at one, as they give you protection, money and recruits!"
Sure, but how?
when you just start Strategus the first time you character is already centered.
Just click "Map" one more time and your character is centered
its a white dot on map ;)
When I entered and reclick map I get centered on the small island on the very, very north-west of the continent. Its more or less centered in the middle of the ocean and there is no white dot. *confused* Am I supposed to swim to the shore?
Right now strat is frozen and waiting for the next iteration. You are just seeing the leftovers from the previous version. Sit tight and wait until sunday.
u cant craft anymore.
u can only buy weps from fiefs.
caravan system should work, so if u buy some goods inside one fief and sell then further away, u get a bonus, also make sure to sell it at a place with either the same goods price or higher to get more profit.
Fiefs meaning castles or player owned settlements?Fiefs are Villages, Castles and Towns. All of them are player owned.
Caravans?
How do I know if the price is higher? By going there and looking or can I look it up before?
yeh . was to lazy to write that wall of text, wich easily can be explained on ts :PYou call three paragraphs a wall of text? You got much to learn, Bjirky, my swedish friend...
thx zipper. sry for the pms :o
should be through a city, dont think u can with other fief types.
How do we put stuff into the Towncenter for trade. I TRIED doing it in a fief(my castle) but I...failed? I guess and couldn't figure it out. Is there a tab/button you gotta do?
Its possible in villages too. If you're in the equipment screen set the amount of an item you want to sell and press TAB. A new edit box appears with the price. Change it to some higher value and press sell... voila... its in the towncenter. As Tomas wrote in the FAQ, you get the money only when someone buys it for this price.
When a battle starts, everyone is kicked from the duel server. The server then changes to the battle and people can join the server to fight/watch the battle.
