A belated announcement thread for the new NA servers. Foreword written by Classical.
After a time has passed, the development team of the mod cRPG/Strategus have decided to do something interesting for the North American community, and convert their surface face to the aspects of neutrality, peace, and love. Without further ado, I would like to explain what is to be further explained by explanations. Neutrality, the state or policy of being neutral, especially nonparticipation in conflict, and resolute of bias.
Neutrality is a course which everyone must pursue at a time to beneficially create a completely unbiased and neutral area of operations or service. The idea and concepts behind the core ethics of unbiased Neutrality, which is in itself an oxymoron, of course you can see - but continuing the discussion: can easily be unbalanced by the smallest feather or spec of happiness or well-being. Due to this fact, neutrality is sometimes hard to achieve, and has to be a resolute application on top of a certain set of circumstances. With these set of circumstances and rule bases solidified we can now move to the idea of having a faction that is not supported by the surfaced unbiased and neutral element of the game, then that would not be neutral. Despite the efforts, intentions, and other givings to the community. Therefore the neutral ideals which are already enforced on other aspects and sides of the community have to eventually be enforced on the other side of the community, which as said by the neutral developer, applied to him by surface intent - the North American community will get a server run by said neutral surface faction. There is now a set of official North American cRPG/Strategus servers, that are run by the development team of the mod. These servers include a: Defend the Virgin server, Strategus Battle server, Siege server, Battle server. The Strategus battle server will be the site of all future Strategus battles in terms of North American preference, these servers will be the basis of Strategus for the North American community.
All of these servers are hosted by an Anonymous (http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php?action=profile;u=7374) third-party contributor, who is graciously donating his time, effort, and money into paying for these servers for the sole benefit of the North American community. However, as this gracious host will not ask himself - I will. Donations for this server would greatly relieve any stress of the main contributor of the funds that essentially and obviously without any explanation in terms - fund the servers. With this day, we take a large step in the development of the North American community, and as Bill Cosby said.. Gray hair is God's graffiti.

strat server kicked some ass with about 80 players and 40 specs. nice box & connect!

You literally get half the ping as the old NA strat server, it owns

wanted to try them out, cus EU is low pop at this time, but when i log in, i can't pick any equip QQ
it used to work before in NA...

The numbers are identical to the EU versions with the same game modes to present a unified way of numbering the servers according to game mode.

Ah I see..not only are the maps identical but everything besides the admins and server location are as well.
EDIT: I take this back, I've been acting like a spoiled little kid..these servers really are a great addition to an over crowded Continent :D

I'm very thankful for having a server to play on in Dallas again. Even the reduction to 60 ping from 80 is quite noticeable to me.

i leveled in the DTV server 6, but it didn't update in the server, so i went to the webpage, it was real enough, specced my char and went on playing DTV, but all the time i was in there it didn't update, so i had to exit the server before getting the stats in.
EDIT: oh yeah and the bots spawn is too far away, it takes ages before they arrive and some of them always bug out on some fence or a stone etc.
damn leeching bots :P

NA_cRPG_1 is now in Chicago. 2, 3, 6 still in Dallas. The rest will be moved during the next few days whenever I feel like it. Go rage in the spam section.

Official servers need more administrators. There's a lot of madness going around.
I imagine picking not just "popular" or connected people, but perhaps people who are on often and are able to oversee the servers.

They actually study the applications so they don't have a bunch of little kids running around as admins.. Give it some time.

Oh, will do. If it weren't for the feeling of neutrality given by the new servers (and the less laggy strat server) I would have given up on them completely after the Chicago move.

Also keep in mind that getting + votes does not mean you automatically become admin. I was voted up a fair amount when I initially turned in my application a month or so ago and I didn't get it then. It is up to Shik's judgement at the end of the day. Also, +1s from clannies aren't exactly that hard to get.

Way to repeat pointblank i know..i just take screenshots now and post ban reqe=uest or if i m lucky and there is an admin in game ill tell them wat the offender is doing... (sorry for sucking typing im rushing)
