Sorry for the pickup Masterwork Arrow box at the center of the screen. This is my first attempt at video.  :)

Is this a glitch? No, now you too can have your own unbreakable shield.

I hope the Devs can make time to fix this error. While their at it mabey they can fix archery missile speed too
Apparently, this was an intentional game mechanic chadz added.

Looks like its time for me and some friends to skip the fun :lol:

+1 For the peasant for being able to hold 6 quivers in 1 shield, without running outta inventory slots.

Testing this out in battle it is not really over powered, and with 39 AGIL you don't need to have any athletics.
In duel server I managed to convince a few BRD members to duel with me, and if you fight agressive you can be destroyed in one or two hits, but using patience I managed to hit a guy 4 or 5 times with no return hits (They start getting sloppy after 40 seconds in frustration) before he ran away yelling I was cheating and canceled the duel (I had no idea duels could be canceled!  :lol:)
My apologies to those members.

I need to next hit Siege, but in the mean time it seems like this build is good for simply "existing" as a massive distraction (locking up top players is hilarious especially if they have something like a poleaxe), so I am OK with indestructable shields.

Me, Gafferjack and Aldryk were the first to try this build the very same day the patch hit, it's not a glitch.

13 shield skills give 104% damage reduction to your shield making it unbreakable, it can still be crushed through or penetrated by a bolt in the case of an Arena shield.

The 3 of us got perma banned from NA 100 because they thought we were glitching/exploiting/hacking, Ecko has talked to chadz about this if it was intended or not and chadz told him that 13 shield skills was intended.

This build is pretty much the top support build, you do minimal damage if at all but you can stun players in the middle of a fight and distract them with your shield.

I remember one map in particuliar where I pretty much distracted the entire enemy team of I think 8 players at the time with Neo and we killed them all.

well there's some obvious things that should tip you off you're fighting one of these guys. peasant-like garb and peasant weapon except the shield. way way defensive minded and very little offense. getting hit for 5-8hp. cmon, plus once you see this guy once it's no surprise after that.

anyways this isn't broken at all and i'm glad it's in the game, though i  never tried it myself. it's a pure support character, meant to distract in a melee and plug chokepoints in a siege. one great maul, mallet  or long maul will ruin its day with 3 str and no armor.

You fear horse bumps like nothing else actually. I got couched and laughed, and then saw 3/4 of my health drop as the charger ran me over.

Have to test that. Pick a dented shield on the ground, and see if after a few hits it recovers.  :mrgreen:
