Old gear stat changes:
Masterwork Long Espada Eslavona -1 speed
Masterwork Sword of War, -1 speed rating.
Masterwork Katana, -1 speed rating.
Masterwork Strongbow, -2 speed rating, -14 missile speed, -1 cut damage.
Masterwork War Cleaver, -1 speed.
Mighty Great Long Axe, -1 dmg. (not exactly sure)
Heavy Lance, +7 speed rating.
Courser, -2 speed.
Pike, -x speed.
Awlpike, -5 damage.
All Bolts, -2 damage
War Horse, Large War Horse, +x speed.
All bows, -x missile speed.
Miaodao lost 1 speed on top of the heirloom -1 speed.
Wakizashi +1 dmg
Niuweidao -1 dmg
Steel pick -1 dmg
Elite Scimitar -1 dmg
Military pick -1 dmg
steppe horse got -3 speed, -2 maneuverability.
Crossbows, +2 damage.
Stones got buffed I think, yay for pebblepusher! aww yeahh
Old gear price changes:
Ride 3 horses are cheaper.
Ride 4 horses are more expansive.

Khergit Bow - Tatar Bow
Strong Bow - Horn Bow

All throwing - 1 slot
Huscarl Shield - 1 slot

All swords lost +1 speed on the balance heirloom.
It is strongly recommended that you install the official Warband 1.142 patch (http://download.taleworlds.com/mb_warband_upgrade_1100_to_1142.exe) in order for all the new features to work properly.

- changed authentication scheme, now every player has a single account instead of individual password for each character
- added Server Group System:
- server owners can manage admins and bans on the website
- admins can have different access levels (the higher the level, the more admin functions available)

- new players now get a pre-assigned password for their chars
- reverted back to old face models
- added many item LODs to improve game performance
- repair cost increased, break chance decreased slightly (resulting in a minor upkeep increase)
- break chance increased when using a weapon with low proficiency

also it looks as if a couple of 1hs lost some stats like the scimitars lost some reach i think
Heavy lance now looks like a short great lance, HAs will now find their reticules are huge when moving

thats surely compensated by another change, 37 for the "rus bow" seems shitty 2 for a 2slot bow.
all in all bows are fucked up in case of realism - hornbow beats them all - except accuracy (same draw weight :wink:). but nomad and especially the Khergit are hornbows too, so theyre all same in overallperformance - design of is same except the recurves on the endings. what am i talking ? history is fine but not funny so we make our own world where a longbow is the "highest bow".
but if u look how close the bows are now in their missile speed, and just ranked from damage to drawspeed - i think it could be a nice change for archer duells.

Missile speed does look very grim. Not sure how that transfers into game play. Will have to wait and see.

SERIOUSLY!? Why nerf the MW Katana speed??!?!?!?!?! it has only 17 fucking pierce and 38 cut dmg already when it's mw'd. 103 was just fucking fine for the MW...

The lordly armor wasn't changed - still +7 to both leg and body (+4 if lighter armors).
Handaxe was 0 slot before this patch.
Miaodao - -1 speed, 3x loomed -1 speed (so -2 speed overall)
Accuracy of warbow increased by 3 to 101
Accuracy of Longbow increased accuracy by 1 to 97
Fighting axe length reduced by 6 to 84

99% of lordly body/gloves/leggings were +3 before this patch. The lordly on helmets was 2 and is now correctly 3 to match the others.
All swords lost +1 speed on the balance heirloom.
Miaodao lost 1 speed on top of the heirloom -1 speed.
Great long axe +1 speed and -1 cut.
Elite Scimitar -1 cut.

You ressurected throwing but in the wrong way. Making the Huscarl shield 1 slotted? Are you insane? And now you made every throwing stuff 1 slot. People just pick the huscarl shield (1 slot), + throwing weps (2 or 3 slot), and tadaaam, we are at pre patch where everyone used huscarl shield with *infinite* throwing ammo which means Mr. RANGED SPAM is back.

Also, half of my build just got totally whooped. Lancing will be different, again.

Well, Im only playing my main on strategus, this is pretty obviously targeted at me and maybe 7 others who are level 34+ (I guess 49 and 50 year olds are ancient where chadz comes from). Seems kind of silly to lose all your heirlooms and all your levels simply because you don't do exactly what chadz wants, retire at 31 like obedient sheep.

im not if this is true , but i fell like charge was buffed on horses, i played a bit now and i killed like 4 people just by bumping them, even at low speeds they fell down insttead of just stunning them. I was using mamluke horse

The arrows/bolts have smaller images in game so when you shoot its much more difficult to track your shots and where they land, miss visibility on 50% or more of shots. Haven't noticed it affecting hitboxes yet, but still testing.

Somebody said that this was for 2handed weapons and 1h weapons may not be affected. Either way, if you're going to list this you don't need to list the -1 speed for all those masterwork weapons. It would save space in your post and make reading easier to get rid of those

maneuverability I totally understand, but -3 speed makes it nearly unable to couch. It was a pretty slow horse to begin with.

After a few hours, this is my opinion :
- Cav lancing : much more realistic, not overpowered, cav still gets lots of kills. Would try at 50° though, at least for cav duelling, I think it wouldn't change that much and maybe give them a chance when front charging (which is reaaaally dangerous now).
- modifications on horses seems fine, my spirited courser still is doing fine, and steppe or arabian have less insame movements (nerfing speed wasn't that necessary though)
- archery nerf : good thing, but... Not that much. Missiles are too slow now. New bow and caracteristics seems fine exept the fact they could gain a few points in missile speed. I still see archers toping the score board though, so wait and see, I guess it's just the time for them to get used to it and to learn to anticipate enemy movement with the new speed. Would have lowered dmg more than missile speed though, they'll be used as shotguns too now :(
- Throwing : nice one. I missed charging as a group and seeing my teammates and enemies fall when we are at close range just before melee because of throwing. Not overpowered, but worth it. Well done !
- Crossbows : seriously ? OK you nerfed the bolts, but crossbows NEED an accuracy nerf, so that it can be used that efficiently as it is now without wpf... I don't say people who invested 100+ in crossbows should be less accurate, but the difference between 0 and 100 should be way bigger. Put a wpf requirement to use it... The way they are used (CS shotguns) is just ridiculous... Or even create a skill for crossbows (decrease reload time for example) to use it as requirement, I don't know, but it's gonna be THE op range weapon now.
- Heirloomed 2 handed speed nerf : no big deal. Side note : katana (and I'm not using it, but I saw its price augmented) still might use a slight pierce buff , even 19 pierce (on my one hander) glances often with 7 PS.
- Polearms : the stun should be slightly nerfed. I can spam the shit out of a lot of people because of that with my MW long hafted blade, it's slightly overpowered.
- Money : the new upkeep thing ? Too much guys. I know you probably do that because of plated chargers riding heavy tincans panzer squadrons and insanely rich players, but poor and new players just CAN'T PLAY. In 3 hours play, with 24k equipement I spent 1h10 at x1, 35 at x2, 20 at x3, 15 at x4 and more than 40 minuts at x5 (yeah, that was a good run), and earned 5k. It's ridiculous : rich players are still riding aroud in plate, on heavy horses of death, just bumping half of the team wearing peasant gear not to go down to 0 gold... Really, that's too much. I don't even imagine leveling and having to buy gear for new players now must be a real pain in the ass, and it already is for my low level alt (damn you respec ^^ ) wearing only 20k worth of equipement (played him half an hour to get back to level 18, no luck, lost 2k)... Please change that, 5% was fine. And I'm already bored of watching naked guys on rounceys trying to lance peasants throwing rocks at them... :mad:
- didn't tried my HA yet, it seems to be REALLY less accurate, but I can't speak atm.

Did some testing, a non heirloomed 6 powerdraw Longbow with nonheirloomed bodkins does on average 50 pierce damage, about 65 if I'm naked. It did around 50 if I was wearing a Black Lamellar or Transitional. This is 2/3 of the HP of my 24 strength/8 ironflesh strength build. Seems like its a guaranteed 1 hit kill on builds with less then 18 strength and/or no Ironflesh.
Also, please raise the cav lancing radius to at least 70 degrees or something. It just isn't fun to play, it feels awful. I think 90 degrees would be just fine with the stat nerfs and upkeep increases but whatever.

Sorry if it's been mentioned, but MW highland got a -1 speed and I believe my MW heavy xbow got an extra 2 pierce and lost some speed...I believe it was 5 to 8 speed but I can't remember exactly.

Ive seen a lot of people winging about the aiming view of mounted lancers being nerfed. I do understand why they did that so as not to unbalance it for infantry. But why not keep it like that for long range heavy damage polearms that are couchable and the low range low damage non couchable non one shot polearms able to spear to the side more so its more balanced? That'd be both logical and more realistic.
