These days im listening mostly to septic flesh (amazing band if you dont know them, very original. Doing music for 20 years.):

On horse, i would use this:

On foot ill fight for anubis:

Doing something boring like siege ill use this song to improve it:

As long as its a good rock song I can really own people.
I got high the other day and listened to a bunch of ACDC couldn't stop killing. Also when your high or drunk does anyone have the urge to run around naked and start Bitch slapping the enemy or is it just me?

Eluveitie - Your gaulish war, and almost every song from them.
Amorphis, many songs.
All that remains, many songs.
Killswitch Engage, many songs.
Also Parkway Drive and Heaven shall burn.
And have to say last but not least: In flames, older production.

Yes, very important distinction to make when it comes to In Flames.  Sadly something not quite epic happened with the newer stuff.
Gyroscope - Whoracle album.  Probably one of the most epic melodic death metal songs ever recorded.

Jester Race is right up there as well come to think of it.

Yeah In Flames havent got anything new lately. They are just repeating and they sound allways the same for me. I liked them a lot about 5 years ago but i got bored of them :/

Happens to alot of bands.  But like many good metal bands, their older stuff is timeless and classic.

Lately, I've been listening to a lot of The Prodigy, awesome for combat adrenaline etc. And also a lot of old school hiphop, like NAS, Army of the Pharaohs (Jedi Mind Tricks), and some more random.

Murda murda - AOTP
Seven - AOTP <-- Beast instrumental Ö
Invaders must die - The Prodigy
Crown - Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood ft. Emcee Killa <-- Nina Simone intro FTW!

Several songs from:

Dead Can Dance
Loreena McKennitt
Nolan movies
Ridley Scott movies
Baldur's Gate II soundtrack

Lately, there's been a lot of K'Naan.

And random stuff from the nineties and the last ten years. Yep, boy bands too.
