Take some castles /Cities. Good luck in strat, you got many very skilled players in clan.

As far i noticed , this game need to be played in blocks. Because of roster system.

I was playing last strat as independent trader, fighting as merc for every sides. I made small fortune in trade between free trade zones. And still it was pointless when i realized it.

I've got 1800 troops fully equiped with milanese sets/other heavy stuff, best weapons, heavy horses and still i  probably would not able defend by most of clans.
Simply because i would have much worse roster on the battle and lose flags.

So i joined clan who is in my opinion one of the best at strat (GO), hoping (after Kalmar declaration) that there will be bloody war with result is unknown.

Thing is, i enemies of UIF seems to do it wrong way. If i would have one big enemy i would not hope that he will "split on two pieces" before eating me at diner. Rather i would try to gather all possible forces/allys. They are strong becouse they don't split.

Problems of anti-uif seems to be lack of loyality. Why the hell sword brothers are attacking ODE ?. Without roster support both clans are doomed. Only at Jelbegi last night roster was really good and chalenging, and defenders manage to hold the village.

You won't win battle against carefully selected roster with random party + 10 clan mates.

But well :) its still a lot of nice battles already

Diplomacy / Re: Mercenaries contract with the GREYs
« on: February 20, 2014, 05:46:19 pm »
Definetly only way to prove fact of being truly mercs is to begin from work contract with former enemies.

I think moment later some other clan will pay with real silver or gold, not stones. To fill roster, aslike clanless traders, for with most teryfing moment at strat is being attacked by any clan (no chance to make real roster). As long mercs won't like to keep too many land for themselves idea should work nice.

Diplomacy / Re: Coalition-Druzhina battle agreement aka Gentelmens War
« on: December 15, 2013, 10:52:18 pm »
I was suprised because Coalition got good chance to defend themselves, loads of troops/silver /EQ , good commanding (although only one effective commander was problem i think, none can be online on every battle). I hoped there will be a lot of sieges since 1/3 role is gone. Sieges over Narra was great. I was inspired to participate as merc in such nice war efforts.

Fiefs will be very fast taken by different strategus forces. And there are new players on conquered teritory , and GO as promised did't took it for themselves.

KalmarUnion grow powerful and they got great active war attitude, aslike Ode (they would be great if not fact they make fief attack at morning :( knowing that deffenders dont have enough clan members to fill roster, very low style). Nordmens returned, and want to retake north. Wolves become big too, even though they did't reunite with they former leader. Fenrises don't have land but got very good players.

GO/DRZ propably lacking in purpose at moment, since only Coalition could get enough very good merc to give counterbattles. Don't think someone would be ever able to get enought resources to fight them (mayby make new free trade zone  ? :))

I hope that will be fight at Dhrim, and enought mercenaries will show up to defend.  Its not victory if defenders won't show up. Pls make last merc stand with good style :D

Overall strategus is intresting all the time, strat battles are pure fun (better even from exp they give), and eu1 or 2 can;t compare to organized battles.

What happened on coalition on strat ?

I dislike idea of exp battles, war on strategus are very nice. Tactic strategy, treachery and all that stuff. Last siege at Narra was pure fun.

Normal battles/sieges we got on EU1 and EU2

Thats ok Analman, no need to be mad.

It's Anatman if youre reffering to one of my game characters. I don't like ppl who make stupid nicks in game, since its about medieval /ancient warriors.
Im not mad, not my troops, fiefs.  Im only one guy that some time is in roster, so im glad that there are wars.

True medieval politics. So Kalmar got 20k troops and fiefs from UIF side and wolves, and they're filling roster of Coalition and fight Conquerors ?

According to topic im more worried what is happening to greys. Since some of them i see they fill opposite roster. This nice  war we have should't end too fast

Don't know what happen to crusaders, i thought they are strong aliance. Desert war was quicker than i thought. Now Coalition is powerful, and remants from difrent clans are comming to their ranks. Defintely they don't have roster problems. There are insane numbers of disciplined coalition players on each battle, so they can pick rest of squad from best merc that aplied. So i belive they can produce very much troops. If they gathered enought silver it should be very long and nice war.

Combined forces of drz, GO, Kapi, Shu han donno mayby wolves and baldes have chance to win it. Especially that they seems to be very good strategicaly. Definetly they won't run of silver, since they can actally make long range trades within own borders.

So thank you all for providing such nice war fun :)

Diplomacy / Re: War on Apostates

people should stop arguing cuz strat is pretty much dead

Actually there are plenty of great battles with level is very high.  I think the final confrontation will be drz/Go/wolf/capikulu/kalmar vs Coalition, supported by apostates, crusaders and barabe.  Actually only coalition can fill roster full of reasonable players and deliver good level of commanding.

Definetly more active players are in UIf front they have more good commanders (Hetman, Overlord, Vovka) and more good strat players. So smaller weaker factions fall terribly to that power.

But hey :) its a lot of fun

Sad that there was no sieges for castle :( fun waste. If Coalition and mercs wont wake up, they will vanish from map

Diplomacy / What is happening with Hre ?
« on: August 31, 2013, 12:19:20 am »
Like in topic, in last seneguzda castle i did;t saw Hre in roster, and 2 top killers in attacking side was former Hre members. Is that means that coalition is going to be broken ? I'm only curious.

Amazing siege btw, attackers was very close to actually take castle.

Im glad that desert war has begun, sadly i can't merc this weekend for anyone :(
