Re: Instead of the default titles allow us to...

Put our own custom titles.

What I have in mind is this.

You retire at level 33, and instead of the Veteran title, you get a custom title for 6 months. So, instead of Veteran Panos, I could be Panos the Butcher of Turks for 6 months

And the same applies for the other titles, but with extended periods, Veteran = 6 months, Master = 9 Months, Grandmaster = 1 year and Legendary = Permanent.

What this will change? It will add total immersion to the mod, because lets face it, everyone is a veteran nowadays and it`s kinda boring seeing the same title over and over again.

OF COURSE, there should be a Title moderation, to avoid retarded titles.

What do you guys think?

Re: Increase the rewards on high level retirements ..

1 to 31 is 8.892.403 and gives you 1 loompoint as a reward

31 to 32 is again 8.892.403, and gives you 2 loompoints, which makes total sense, because it`s equal to 1-31 , but two times.

The problem appears if you retire on level 33 and above

Level 33 is 35.569.612 which translates to exactly 4 generations of 1 to 31, and yet the reward is 3 loompoints, and not 4 as it should be.

Level 34 is 71.139.224 which translates to exactly 8 generations of 1 to 31, and yet the reward is 5 loompoint, and not 8 as it should be.

Level 35 is 142.278.448 which translates to exactly 16 generations of 1 to 31, and yet the reward is 8 loompoints and not 16 as it should be.

What am I suggesting :

1.+1 Loompoint on level  33, from 3 to 4 , and also give x3 XP Bonus cap, instead of one, meaning that each tick will reward 1090 xp and not 1030

2. +2 Loompoints on level 34, from 5 to 7, and also give a x5 XP bonus , instead of one, meaning that each tick, will reward 1150 xp, and not 1030

3. +4 Loompoints on level 35, from 8 to 12, and also give a x10 XP bonus, istead of one, meaning that each tick, will reward 1300 xp and not 1030

What do you guys think?

I wanted to post these here because I wanted them to get more attention.

Discuss and give your thoughs please.

Like it all, and to moderate the titles, if the title is inappropriate it can be removed and the person can lose their privilege to a title.
Here, dear crpg folk, we have an honest man who doesn't conceal the truth out of the fear of getting nerfed. He surely deserves a round of heartfelt applause.

Sounds like one of those wonderful 'drop 10kg in a week and get glorious abs' adds. Almost sure you wanted to parody it in your comment Heskey. Amirite? Just trying to clarify so people understand it properly.

I'd expect you'd need some guidelines for titles.

Also, rather than simply removing their title, just make it the default.

Well, instead of posting mindless shit, why don`t you try posting YOUR suggestion/s, if you have any of course.

When I was level 34, I didnt want to retire because the rewards were just lame, and I finally did because I was bored of my build.

You are approaching this from the wrong way Panos, most people dont want to retire at all ever again once they have their looms and high level.

I would like to see a removal of the respec cost or a lessening of it. So i dont respec/retire due to build boredom ever again  :)

Being a peasant in this game fucking sucks, a total removal of anything below lvl30 would be a great improvement.

Well, long time ago I had suggested that when you retire you go straight to level 30 and you can only retire at level 32 and above, but not many were fond of that suggestion

Every third post I read, is about how big the gap between high leveled characters and the newcomers is, yet no one has something to suggest on how to close that gap. So yeah Heskey, even if only 1 decides to retire his character because of my suggestions, I would be happy.

1. I don't care about titles.
2. I have enough loompoints/masterwork items.
3. Already reached max bonus cap.
4. Mostly what Tindel said.

At this stage I would like only possibility to often change my build, week as xbow, next week as polearm and so on (don't like STF chars).

The goal of Strategus battles shouldnt be to deprive your enemies of players, but to have full roster both sides and have the gear/tactics/strategy win the day rather than lack of merc support.

Well the only thing that could make me retire ( i didnt retire since 2 years on my main i think ) would be something like if u retire at 35/36 u get a special loom point that can make an item +4. I know its just a dream and that most of ppl will say it's bullshit, but just giving my idea :D

If u want all high level to retire give them something very special like this. And retro active for those who already got master / legendary titles.

About titles... and loompoint, you could give 100 to me, no one really needs loompoint anymore.

Literally nothing that will not grant me a more significant advantage ingame will incentivize me to retire my high level characters.

Also, doesn't the title 'butcher/slayer of Turks' carry some genocidal implications that are worthy of moderation?

First of all, everybody saying "Nobody needs loompoints anymore", you guys are just either  no lifers who have retired 500 times and/or market jews who make millions each day by trading.

There are many people who barely have any looms.

Anyway, really like the suggestions Panos, however, what happens to the people who have already retired at 33+ before?

Do they recieve the bonus of having retired at higher levels as well, or will they not get anything now? (Loompoints and gen bonus)
For all the non-believers, look no further than this thread for proof that while strat battles are won/lost in NA3/EU3, strat wars are won and lost on the forums.
