I think the main point is total equipement cost:
  • Below ~20k - you should increase steadily in the medium/long run
  • 20-30k - you may round around 0, give or take good/bad days
  • More than 30k - you will need to slave in peasant gear to earn loomz ... :)

Yah... only x5, or just raise x1..

Remove all the x1,2,3,4,5 and make only one gold tick per minuet.

350 gold per minuet, and exp gain should follow the normal exp gain.

This is pretty much true. But with 35k overall equipment cost you shuold still make profit IMO.

What do I win?

(click to show/hide)

Round starts at 7:00
First tick at 6:30
second at 6:00
third at 5:00
fourth at 4:00
fifth at 3:00
That's 4 min's result. 5x 50g = 250 g; 5x 250g = 1250 g

That's my setup and I very very slowly lose money over long periods of time, or I can break even sometimes as well.  The thing is, I have a decent reserve of gold, so if I get hit with unlucky repairs 10 times in a row, I can survive.  If you have only 10k gold buffer, that will hurt you very badly.

Also I am able to break even or slowly lose money with this build, because I routinely join a server and start accumulating multiplier and will ride x5 for long periods of time (not always, but at least half the time I play).  I usually get a lucky valor here or there when my team loses, which enables me to keep my x5 rolling.  I get valor relatively easily using cavalry, when I was playing a 2h alt, I hardly ever got valor.

So that makes a huge difference in how much gold you make over long periods of time.  Just so you know, there's about a 4% chance of each item you had when you started the round, being hit with a repair cost (which is 7% of the total cost of the item).  This "chance" happens every time you get a gold/xp tick on the minute marks (so every tick except the 6:30 xp/gold tick).

Also keep in mind, the 4% chance of repair is out of infinity.  If you repaired an item 3 times in a row the last 3 rounds, you still have a 4% chance of getting hit with a repair on the item this round (well 4% every time you get xp/gold tick).

You're basically paying to be OP. Rather than balance the actual stats they try to reduce the amount by making it cost you more gold to use
If you have ranged troubles use this:

I use this and lose only slowly money. Like 5k only every 2 hours.
And then just some rounds of dtv in light gear to win it back.
