I propose next an invidiual tournament next saturday or sunday. It would be nice to do either on alternating weeks.

Just an idea:

7 vs 7 tournament, 8 clans, that means 56 players on server. Someone can do a livefeed from the server to youtube or something else so people can watch it.

Max 3 team members with ranged (for example: 1 bow, 1 xbow, 1 throwing.

Same organizing system as last time, just with more people.

Same organizing system as last time, just with more people.

this will not work imo, if we want a bigger tourney we have to either adjust the server capacity or make it during more days. (1st day group A, 2nd day group B, 3rd day finals).
if clan tournament will win, more detailed poll about that will come after to specify the details. i'm not against dividing tournament into more days or making it bigger, but if ill test another game mode (not laggy buggy deathmatch), i'd prefer to be less people there and doing it 1 event only to see how things will work out.

How will you fix the "server is full" issue? It was OK now because people kept crashing all the time, but that's not really an optimal solution. :D

our admin odin knows how to hack the server so it can support over 200 people...

The limit should be 120 though, we all know how laggy EU4 was when it had more than 120 slots. And 120 is more than enough.

last tournament was 8 teams (5 teamsize).
this meant 40 people minimum
about 70 slots would be enough for that, so you need like 7/4*teams*teamsize slots (maybe for smaller teams probably a bit more than for bigger ones)

1st - i believe tha lag would be lower if the deathmatch mode wouldn't be broken
2nd - shogunate say their server is less laggy than ours

ill try to test both for the next tournament, i know i have to organize tournament on other server to definitely find out the truth if only our one is laggy or not. but its quite strange, i got 24 ping on our tournament server - less than on any other crpg server. on the other hand, others had x*100 ping with x varying from 1 to 5). for this i think the problem may not be the server but also the bugged deathmatch.

i normally have 42-45 ping on eu servers, but i have 160 on yours and more lags than when i play on na servers

Yes, but people start getting FPS lag at high number of players too.

Maybe for next tournament, have an established roster, cause some teams had around 10 people on the server, I know it's because everyone wanted to play, and that's good, but for the next meeting, maybe have a fixed roster, with eventually substitutes that would be warned via TS or whatever. That's also to the teams to act more civilised, and not bringing 1/2 of cRPG on the server.

I voted >10, because I think some teams might want to work on their teamplay a bit, and it's not that easy to "book" a saturday evening for everyone every weekend, so... :P
Also if we have a tournament every weekend, or even 2 per month, I'm afraid, the excitement will be lost, don't rush good things.
I also voted for clan tournament, because that's imo what's more interresting, you play solo every day in battle mode... And it would maybe get some new players to join clans, wich isn't a bad thing!
