Semi-serious. Spend a few rounds on EU1, notice how 60-80% of the players are carrying xbow, bow or throwing weapons?
Xbow as a whole is entirely too easy and it's ridiculous how fast you reload them with your bare hands, bows are too deadly for how fast they fire.
Over-saturation of ranged will be the death of this game.
Bear in mind I played xbow for around 5 generations, so I'm not speaking from inexperience.

In comparison to native xbows and bows are already much much slower, I just dont like how ridiculously accurate both are  :?
Maybe if Coronoa virus gets rid of 50 percent or more of the world population we can do without a pope and religion.

dude, do not get me wrong, and do not forget that I hate ranged probably more than you, but what you are suggesting will kill ranged entirely.

I have said it plenty of times before, 1 ranged enemy is not a problem, 2 and more though is a big problem.

The fact that the majority of players are ranged, make it seem like it is the most op classes of the mod, which is a false image.

Just add PD requirement for for xbows, and make bows non sheathable.

Everytime ive heard people say that the majority of the server is ranged, and actually logged in to check, it has always been proven otherwise. On top of that the suggestion is thrash and dumb to smoke.

Because shitty shit shitty ass nigkrs that suck my small Asian dick suck at game and need other method to kill people. Also, siege & strat need it. If it gets nerfed more, then you might as well nerf hp on players too.

xbows should always have needed powerdraw in order to be used efficiently, after all these years it still doesn't have any requirements outside of wpf to be more accurate :?

More effective? I highly doubt that. I dont think anything but cav compares to the effectiveness of melee. Unless you are good with crossbows and bad with melee.

The only annoying thing with archers/ranged is their ability to kite when I'm on my 33/9 melee alt. They usually need three headshots to kill me (with a rus bow and 6/7 PD), which isn't nothing. If anything, I played something like ... a few thousands of hours as a ranged player, and dozens of hours as a shielder/melee char, usually doing as good or better. Tripling the reload time, and halving the ranged damage, isn't even semi serious at this point, it's a joke imo, considering you're still going to need a lot of arrows, with the maximum value of PD you can get (10) to kill someone fast enough.
