Saving for an attack helicopter atm but I kept crashing repeatedly with the settings Xant gave me. I'm changing stuff now though.

Fools with older cpu´s and mobo´s - save money and only buy a good OC´ed gtx 970 or 980 first.

Game runs fucking fine cranked nearly to the max on a 955 phenom II, 8 gigs of ram and an EXTERNAL USB 2 hdd!
The Samsung 850 pro I ordered will help me get rid of the fps issues caused by the slow data rate from the hdd.

Only played SP so far, never was an open world fan, but this game...jesus...best open world game ever maybe.
Not a single crash in 25 hours ingame. Quite the opposite of gta 4 (which I never got into).

Just a reminder to fellow forumers who have trouble with sluttering on amd cards, be sure download the beta 15.12 catalist drivers.

Game runs smooth like butter for me on high and 8x msaa now.

How are you crashing?

When doing heists my game just crashes and it tells me to restart GTA in safe mode.

Okay, because I'm not "crashing", I'm just getting stuck in "loading screens" sometimes. Wonder if that's just me or if it's happening to other people too. Like right now I'm stuck staring at some clouds after a LTS game...

I've had that too.

Weirdly enough, it gets fixed by simply alt tabing out and back in.
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

I had constant crashes on loading screen when I put the grass detail anything higher than "normal".
No idea why but with the normal setting it runs stable. I believe it wasn't an issue before the patch...

So I have an i5-750 at 2.66 GHz and a Radeon HD 5870, does anybody have any idea if that would be enough to consistently be above 30 fps with ebola graphics? I beat the Minimum settings but I never really understood what that means. I'd pirate it but it would take forever. Just need to get in on the post-release hype before all my friends get bored.
