Following the results of the recent poll...


Monday - 7 (8.5%)
Tuesday - 2 (2.4%)
Wednesday - 3 (3.7%)
Thursday - 3 (3.7%)
Friday - 22 (26.8%)
Saturday - 30 (36.6%)
Sunday - 15 (18.3%)


... the community has decided that Saturday will be our weekly cRPG night.

Please make an effort to come online with your friends and clan mates around 5-6pm (GMT) this Saturday the 10th.

I am hoping that we can crack the 100 player mark and , if we are successful, we will try and make it a weekly tradition. (With the possibility of theme nights later down the line)

General Discussion / Low server populations (poll)

I've noticed the server populations have dropped rapidly over the last week or so.

This is probably due, in part, to the recent release of Kingdom Come and perhaps also due to the issues we were having with banner balance at the time. (Not that I am ungrateful for the efforts made to fix it, I just think that the format we had was unfortunately as good as it gets.)

I know that the devs are working to improve the mod, but I was thinking about how we as a community could do something.

Therefore I propose we all vote and agree on one evening per week that everyone will agree to try and be online. Say from 5pm GMT onwards. Hopefully this way, we can get some big battles going again and provoke more interest in the mod. If we could get 120 people at one time that would be awesome.

I will leave this poll running until next Sunday (4th) to give everyone a chance to see it and vote. If enough people are interested, I'll post another thread announcing the event for whichever day is chosen the following week.

Hello,

Xesta, the troll, I call you out for a duel on eu3. The terms of the duel are as follows.

The duel will be best of 5.

I will fight naked with my skip the fun character and you may fight with any level, armour or equipment you see fit to use.

At Xesta's request we will both wear armour. ^

You may choose which melee class I play, 1 hander, 2 hander or polearm.

The stake for the duel is 200k which is all the gold I have. If you do not have 200k, then suggest a smaller sum which is more affordable for your price range.

Accept, dont accept, but always that know you are terrible.

Let the shit storm commence.

I cant enjoy this game anymore, so I quit. Maybe I will come back at some point, but not in the forseeable future.

Game Balance Discussion / Two Directional Polearms.

Yeah I know its been a problem for a long time and imagine some people would say 'no shit sherlock', but I really think it needs to be restated.

Two directional polearms (With pehaps the exception of the awlpike) are utterly useless. I think I actually forgot how bad they really are... I just started using an english bill +3 and I have never been so pissed off by anything in cRPG to this extent. Every strike glances, or goes through the enemy, or misses them entirely due to the turn speed nerf. It is quite genuinely unusable; in battle and duel.

Just thought I should bring it to the attention of the game balancers.

cRPG Technical problems / Strange kind of lag?

I have 40-50 ping which is usual for me, but for some reason the times I tried to play in the last days, it feels like Im fighting with 120.

If someone swings for me, I hear my block half a second before the attack gets near me, and if I fail to block at an insane speed, I get hit despite having my block up long before the swing nears me. Its incredibly frustrating and I really dont want to play in this state. I also get the 'walking through people' issue that is common with high ping and often I dont see my swings, sometimes I cant even see the enemies strikes. I just lose half hp and then I see the swing animation a second later.

The issue is the same on native, and my ping test showed 0% packet loss, 23 ping and a jitter of 8ms. Nothing bad in that.

It started when I tried to play this weekend, I am out of practise and havent been playing much recently, but it cannot explain the scope of the issues I am experiencing atm. I really cant see myself continuing with this game, if this problem persists.

Any suggestions? Anyone have the same?
