So you've broken jarids

Since the last patch I have been noticing a lot of difference in throwing jarids, and those changes are really atrocious.

first of all i decided to test out heavy throwing axes first, and it turns out that they are perfectly fine, i actually even get the impression that fly even further then before.

this is what i have to play with when i take jarids :

- the jarid weighs 2 tons making it drop incredibly fast

- the jarids goes through people and horses even worse then before, i threw one at an immobile horse and it was going straight in its flank...went through and landed on the other side

- jarids are even more innacurate then before

- jarids zigzag through air! they go right then left! some people tell me wind! If this is so, Im throwing jarids in a goddam hurricane!

is this intended? if so, I'll be happy to switch to heavy throwing axes!

I've noticed an increase of ghost projectiles and the zigzag thing as well since the last major patch.

I use heavy throwing axes on my alt... Haven't really noticed anything. I threw one jarid though, right between Bazinga's eyes yesterday... It was close range and I just picked up some shit to throw from the ground. When I headshot someone with any throwing weapon, it's pure luck so I don't know how jarids really are doing :DD.

hum... I find it strange too

(like in siege shooting at ladder full of people hittin only the ground...)

by luck my awesome throwing lance isn't affected!
So the new response to ranged ragers is not "get a shield", it is "learn to chamber ranged nub!"

The thing is, the NA server is running on the old server and nothing changed for months there.
Besides, the "throw weapon while turning and it makes a weird curve" has always been there and is very easy to reproduce on Native servers as well.

Not directly on topic but I got the impression lately - since  the patch basicly - that my bolts are passing through people a lot more often than before.
I am not the only one tho, I remember Bosco telling me about the same impression w/o me mentioning it before. Dunno about others.
Maybe there is some packet loss in the server/client connection? Any changes in the patch?

Cuz if there is an explanation, I would start looking at either the new server or the patch.

I love curving the fuck outta my arrows and throwing shits  (even though it has no real effect on the game, looks awesome)

yes but what im saying is something else. im standing still throwing a jarid to an archer on a roof. the jarid goes straigth then right then comes completly back on the left. I'v witnessed this a few times on eu 1 and eu 2, and I'm not the only one.

on na strat i must have just done a boss turn jump  8-)

Ok, I'll see if I can reproduce it. Does it happen every time or does it depend on something specific (your height, throw angle...)?

if you try out, try throwing the sky, thats how i really got to see the sway. i dont seem to get it with heavy throwing axes.

Generally it sways to the right first, and sometimes i notice it would swing to the left. someone else told me he noticed this and he was using (war)darts.
I just wen to play on eu2 and i didnt notice this anymore, could it be lag?

for some reason, i am not experiencing this anymore! don't know if you fixed it or it was temporary due to lag but it seems all good now!

I've noticed some weird movement on my Jarids that I never had before too. Not much though, the worst part is going through stuff, that's definitely noticable.
