Hi guys!

I see many new/poor/in need of money/greedy players nowadays and I thought we could all help them by making a lottery!

It would work in following way:

People buy so-named "tickets" each worth of 5000 gold and every week/three days/insert set date I will draw one ticket which gets 90% of the money gathered through selling tickets. The rest goes to my personal bank for other editions of lottery - I might be doing a heirloom lottery one day!

How can you be sure I am not scamming? That's easy. You simply can't. No risk - no fun.
But I can asure you, that I am not scamming. You have to trust me. Can't force you to do that.

Rules and info:

1. For each lottery, you can buy only one ticket per edition. I've considered as many tickets as you want, but that would do two things: it would effectively decrease the income from win for people who bought more than half of current week's edition and make it really unfair for people who buy only one ticket.

2. The ticket costs 5000 (five thousands) gold.

3. If there are less than 2 tickets bought in current week's edition, the lottery will NOT happen and the money will be given back to the one person who bought the only ticket.

4. I am drawing the winning ticket by writing a number from 1 to X next to each participating person's nick and using www.random.org True Random Number Generator.

5. At the second post in this thread there is a "scoreboard" for winners.

6. The name of lottery is based on the fact that each ticket costs 5 thousands - and that can also be replaced by term "5k", hence the name.

7. Both tickets and prize are traded through Marketplace. The transactions are performed in following way:

Tickets:

I, as an Organisator, put cheap stuff (like stones, sickles, etc.) on the Marketplace each at price of 1001 gold - the additional 1 gold is there for easier recognising.
When one wants to buy a ticket, he or she simply buys one of my cheap items on Marketplace.
Note: those items will have following description:
"5k lottery ticket. You are buying it on your own risk - if you don't want to participate in lottery, skip this offer."
Also, check the name of who is selling the ticket. If it isn't Dravic - don't buy the item! It may be someone wanting to earn cheap money by tricking you.

Prizes:

After I receive the message on my character page saying that someone bought the ticket, I write down who bought the ticket and give the ticket a number. After one of the numbers wins the prize, I find the ticket with same number and contact the character who bought the ticket, pleasing for Forum Name (scoreboard) and for the offer for prize. (again, cheap item for x gold, where x = prize)

8. The current cumulation (amount of gold as a prize) will be written in the second post in this thread. I will try to keep it up to date, but remember, that I am not next to the computer all the time.

9. The draws are made every few days. The next draw date will be written in the second post in this thread.

I really encourage you, guys, to try it.

1001 gold isn't that much, and if you win... even with 2 people in the lottery it is still 1600 gold (600 gold of pure profit) for you! Imagine the numbers, if there were 20 people participating!

First I contact the winner through c-rpg character's page - because I don't know the forum nick. In the message, besides the request to put "prize-getting" offer, I ask for forum nick to put it in the Scoreboard and/or for further contact.

This leads us to

a list of winners

- because the Scoreboard is the list of ALL winners, just put in order from the biggest to the lowest prize - sumed up, of course, for people, who won few times in a row.

Actually, when I think about it... We could also make a more expensive tickets edition someday.

Suggest the price. I think 5k would be as OK as it can be, 10k is a bit too much for people who don't get x5 all the time.

Maybe in future...

For now, let's stick to 1k, at least the drawing system will be tested.

And btw this edition is for fun not for money. 200 gold/ticket is enough to buy those scythes, sickles etc for trade
