The empire existed for over a millennia and ruled large parts of central Europe. Now here in these distant lands we will have to start afresh.
Despite the "holy" in our name we won't strive to be particular good, but rather like our historical counterpart, follow the motto that might makes right!
Chivalric values are only for those of noble birth and the serfs should stay in their place, after all this is gods order.

Pledge your allegiance to the Kaiser today and help us rebuild the empire to its proper glory!

Imperial Hierarchy

Chosen by god, elected by the Kurfürsten and crowned by the pope himself, he rules over his loyal vassals while respecting their natural rights.
He has to be a worthy man, aged 18 or older, of noble birth and lay of status.
After swearing of the Wahlkapitulation the Kaiser rules the Empire until his natural death. (We might use regular elections to spice things up)

The most powerful and influential Lords of the Empire. They form the electoral college and elect the next Emperor.
They will carry out their lieges will and lead the empires army in battle.
The Kurfürsten is made up of 7 members, four lay and three spiritual.

The Princes of the Empire ranked below the seven Prince-electors, they ruled over an immediate fief directly assigned by the Holy Roman Emperor.
Together with the Reichsgrafen, Freiherren and Imperial Prelates they formed the Council of Princes at the Reichstag assemblies.

The warrior nobility, holds land in their lieges name and is obligated to serve him militarily.
These men are the empires most formidable warriors and the backbone of its army.
Loyal and valiant men of outstanding merit will be knighted by the Kaiser and eligible to hold land.

Knappen or Squires are already formidable warriors on their way to knighthood.
They are the mainstay of the empires cavalry or lead the charge of the infantry as men at arms.

These battle hardened men form the backbone of the empires army. They include ranged, melee and mounted troops.
They may not be part of the nobility, but valour in battle and loyalty towards the empire will enable any men to rise to the highest rank.

Every new member starts here. In this phase the new member will get to now the faction and the other members.
If he likes the faction and fits in he will be promoted to Waffenknecht and becomes a proper part of the empires army.
The most important factor for us is not skill, but recruiting people we get along and have fun with.

The Holy Roman Empire was an impressive Empire thus being able to choose from a wide variety of mercenaries to recruit into their ranks.
Their expertise in certain fighting styles makes them a great ally on the battlefield.

How to join?
- Post in this thread
- Register at our forum
- Read the Application Guide
- Follow our Equipment Restrictions
- Post an application
- Join TS and be active

At first you will be a recruit. In this phase we get to know each other and see if you fit in with the rest of the guys.
After 1-2 weeks and after passing a vote you will become full member.
We follow a certain style, that means some pieces of equipment are restricted in our faction. A full list can be found at our forum.

Why your clan?: First of all the Holy Roman Empire is cool, and secondly, OP convinced me with its awesomeness.

Extra info: I recently retired my first character, Barbaari(hence my forum name), so I'm low lvl at the moment. I own a headset with a microphone.

Hi after the last patch i decided it would be worth to invest my time playing a bit more together
in teams (i want to play more Strategus + Balancing by Banners).

Because you are mostly german and cause i like your setting i would love to join.
My highest Char pre-patch was Camaris_II with lvl30.
Atm i am playing with Neresto who is atm lvl22.

Teamspeak etc. is fully working and available.
Personal im a uncomplicated person. I like to play together in team and talking a bit
while doing that about god and the world

CustomBannerpack customisation, replaces the Eastern Tsardom banner for the default one. Updated as for version 043.

EDIT: Installation: just like the banner pack, it's supposed to replace one of the files the bannerpack replaces.

If a new bannerpack update comes up you can paste this "fix" over it, it'll definately work. Only problem is when someone makes changes in the A-X-X slots. But i guess you can live with that.
