On a serious note, spam has been already dealt with by lowering WPF, for example with 6 WM @ lvl 31 before patch you had 180 WPF, now you have 150 WPF. It's a big difference.

Get a shield, manual block, chamber block, pick up throwing, archery, xbow, maintain a safe distance from melee.

People stopped whining about spammers once they learned to play.  Get with the times... Whine about horses or throwers or throwers on horses or something like that.

What about not buffing range this time, but nerfing shield against the ranged and buffing shield users against 2h but also make them more skill based ?

I'm not great at manual blocking/toe-to-toe fighting, but I usually have a pretty high K:D ratio. Why?

Horses. Get one, shank those 2-handers from behind, and enjoy being the one that draws the complaints for a while.

No, it's definately spiced ham.

I think there should be a timing issue with blocking. If you reached the block stance just slightly before the hit lands, your opponent should be interrupted in his cooking of the spiced ham. If you just blocked like usual, he should be able to continue the kitchen-work.

Zagibu, a mod for Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy called Movie Battles 2 has something similar to that idea. If you manual blocked while fighting another lightsaber/force user right before they hit, their weapon would be disarmed. I would support that but it would change duel mode a LOT.

Sometimes the best thing a two hander or polearm user can do against a sword-and-boarder is KEEP attacking! It may seem like mindless mouse clicking, but more often its a calculated risk... keep attacking, hoping your swings will negate their attacks.  The advantage of shield less weapons is you can get more attacks off faster. The downside... No shield.

Oh, and practice chamber. It KILLS "spammers"

Honestly, I've never been up against any player where I couldn't get an attack in.  Sometimes against fast people, you are trying so hard to get in your blocks, you don't realize that you can release your block and attack. 

If someone just holds up a shield, I'm going to "spam" them.  If someone actually blocks and attacks me, I will block and attack back.
