Well as someone who's actually studied the history of the Knights Templar it really doesn't bother me.  AC 'Templars' are so far removed from anything remotely linked to the actual Templar order that it means nothing.  I'd care more about killing a Black Templars of 40k than the AC Templars.

Space Marine chapters at launch include (at least) the Dark Angels, Ultramarines, Blood Angels and Space Wolves. Expect more information on the rest of the factions over the course of development.
