Yeah, i remember, i was here too, this guy Oink_smigley something qml'ed everybody, he did to me 4 in a raw, i was moving, didn't have the time to type in chat to tell him to stop. A simple feature could avoid the spam, after 2 or 3 unsuccessfull qml the spammer should be kick from server.

you sound pretty ragey and whiney.  guess you arent tough enough for siege.  its no worse than a poorly admin'ed FPS game server.

admins though are frequently too lenient and inconsistent.

I guess problem is not admin, they didn't change, it's more the players that have changed, it's a shame that admin have to be tougher for others to play decently.

If you get +1x for reporting a leacher..what do you think will happen? 

One time I got kicked for "leaching" when I had 5x cuz I missed the warning message.  and I got pissed and came back to the server.  I started qml'ing everyone out of anger...and I got back to 4x in one minute.  Then I realized....oh, that is why ppl are constantly trying to boot me....

This feature should be removed...obviously.  Hurts more than it helps.

Nope good clans work hard to make sure they have a good reputation and have good players.  If everyone walks around with an ATS or DL tag and starts tking or stuff the clan will get the same reputation as LLJK.

Now now, this has nothing to do with if a clan is good or not. Even if I started a brand new clan I would dislike someone giving us a bad reputation.

If I want to put an Italian flag on my car and drive around like an ass I am still legally able to do so...even though might give Italians a bad name, and they work hard to make a good reputation.  Know what I mean?  It seems a little...draconian.

You can use whatever name you want. There's a distinct difference between banners and tags. Banners, anyone can use them, you will be frowned upon though if you use a clan banner. A tag on the other hand is adding an abbreviation or something along those lines and that you can be banned for.

Well, I don't know if this is true.  If I want to name myself "DL_Torrent" I can't, because its also a clan tag....even if I mean the DL to stand for "download".  So, what I mean is, one man's name is another man's tag...so, in effect, no...ppl cannot choose whatever name they want, even if the name is not taken or isn't a swear word.

Maybe it would be allowed if the road wasn't private.  ATS pays hundreds a month for the server they do what the like with it.
