health regeneration

So basically my idea is to add health regeneration to CRPG ( restore health over time )
I came up by this idea because sometimes you survive pretty long ( in siege for example )
but your health stays low, it would be nice to retreat and recover when you want to stay alive.

Health regeneration should not be overpowered so I thougt of some penalties which could be added:

Your health starts regeneration after beeing 10 secs out of combat.
The rate at which your health restores should be based on your agility lvl,
at level 3 agility it takes 1 minute and 30 seconds to fully recover from 1 hp.
at level 30 agility it takes 30 seconds to fully recover from 1 hp.

The reason for picking agi is because if your a pure str guild with 11 IF you would imo. be unstoppible.
There could maybe also be a regeneration penalty when using heavier armour.

I would like to have some feedback, wether you like it or not :)

No. It would encourage delaying even more, and would further strengthen the already obscenely strong strength stat.
So with PT >10 stones become simple too effective

Helllllll noooooo. This would make being ranged or cav even easier as it easy to stay away from combat long enough to come back and tear things up more

I vote no, this encourages delaying a match, and it means that "wearing down" people becomes rather difficult.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.

If anything, there should be health DEgeneration (bleeding out) of like 10% of the damage taken.

I vote no.

Okay, well thanks of the replies, I also see at the hand of your posts about delaying this could involve some problems.
At the other hand it might encourage people in siege to help and defend the flag a bit more then usual :)

Hmm, I wonder if we could implement a permanent Healing Tent at each Flag Location.

hehe, that would atleast give the dedicated defenders a chance to keep defending once an attack has been over :)

I'd be down with trying a bleeding/bandage system as long as there was limited bandage ammo, unlike say Day of Defeat: Source realism mod.

Could add new things/devices that construction site could build

surgeons table. that gives bonus to bandage healing.  have someone on your team as the surgeon that spawns with all bandage ammo...and maybe a wicked sharp scalpel!
