Cool to see heirlooming back up, sucks you cannot change your name though. I kind of liked that feature maybe make it an option to change your name if you heirloom with the bonus?

You can always pay 1000g and apply for a namechange.

So I'm still a little lost.  What does a modifier do?  Is there anyway I can see what my items will be like after I add the modifier BEFORE I commit to it?

DAMNIT chadz!  You freaking changed the Elegant Poleaxe.  I had a tempered that was 94 speed, no is  a heavy of 90 speed!  If I wanted a slow ass weapon I would've used a bardiche.  Now I wasted my only modifier.

There was absolutely no way for me to know about the change ahead of time.

   Thick Sarranid Guard Armor
weight 14
abundance 100
head armor 0
body armor 48
leg armor 8
difficulty 15

   Thick Sarranid Guard Armor
weight 14.5
head armor 0
body armor 48
leg armor 8
requirement 11

   Thick Sarranid Guard Armor
weight 14
abundance 100
head armor 0

i get 2 choices of heirloom for my armor , which is weird because i only have one  :( and it seem back to give 1 armor bonus instead of 2 on the fix the .200 patch ,

For about 7 days, you are free to change your name to whatever you want.

If you choose Retirement Without Bonus you simply delete your character. Your heir is generation one and receives no equipment whatsoever. Just done it.

That's bullshit, I did it this morning after it was released and your xp is reseted to 0, nothing else changes. You are still the same generation as before, keep all your stuff and gold.

So which one is right?

Only for clan tags though later on.

What is the difference between retiring without the bonus and retiring with the bonus?

I think, for the future, complete name changes will be allowed 24h after a retirement. Need to code a notification for the admin team first, though.

Also, something that caused confusion:

You are bound to the gender with which you joined the game first. If you then change gender, you spawn naked, just like when joining with another players nick.

When retiring, you are able to select a new gender if wanted, but only the first time you join after the retirement, then it's carved in stone again.

C'mon, krampe, these are just health & safety precautions :D NA guys love that stuff. Multiple gender changes may cause numerous health problems, including inability to... spawn with eq. But you can do it if you want, so np.

Does retiring at level 15 give you an xp bonus or not?
