Yep. It's about restat without retirement. You pay money to undo attribute and skill point investments.

Oh well i might have misunderstood this but anyway, ill hand out a new example....only archers are able to loom bows, u just reached lvl 31, know bows have got higher value on the market than any other loom, u pay to get ur restat which is "15 k" put the skills in archery....6 pd etc, now ur able to loom a bow with higher value than any other weapon, sell the loomed bow and buy a better weapon for urself, 2H+2 or what build ur gonna go for this time..

Yeah, 15k is way too low for a full restat. More like 100k, or 15k per point you want to undo.

This is a good point, but keep in mind that only archers will buy bows, limiting the market. I do agree that this can be abused the way you explain (especially after a new patch and everyone switches to the latest trend) and the total price is very low.

I think 2k gold a level would be more balanced.

What ever, you don't get it. You live in the land of the MMO where the objective isn't fun its grind and a 3inch extension of your epeen. All I want to do is have fun with the game on the one server I can get on. I don't want the throw ability it doesn't interest me, I think its poop. You see many MMO where you have the right to retire but keep your gear and gold (lvl15) or event retire and gain a better weapon, and i don't know MMO where you can already jump to max soft cap level (skip fun to 30)?!?

It seems that your problem is that you want to change build but you want to keep gold and gear, and you don't want to grind again. Then, how about retire now, and jump to 30 with your heir? (Still you have to plain wisely your new build).
This give you many solution to play the mod as you want and have fun.
If everybody could change build then you'll see some changing their build for flavor of the month.

(Btw, in SP you can't change your build and you can't retire or jump to 30...)

Good point Gheritarish about retiring and lvl popping. Its what I did. The only downside is that you can not rejoin the whole lvling aspect of the game with out deleting the char. And if like me you did it with a well equipped character you only get one shot at it.

My only advice is don't do it when your tired... All in all it worked out it well. Just wish I had 1 more skills point then my build would be pretty much exactly what I want, but that would require the now and forever unreachable lvl 31, lol.

That's what happen to a friend, and he was forced to retire, he was 30 and his build would have been what he wanted at level 31, but new requirement screw it all, so he retire, now he's at level 29 and it's a pain for him to grind again. But he said "this is the game, this is live, you need challenge otherwise life would be lame".

 Guild Wars was a shitty-ass game, but this was one thing they got right. The ability to start off a character and be decent at high level play. Additionally, respecing your character in that game was a breeze.

I will admit, I loved the monk class in Guildwars. One of the best designed party's-bitch ever. Lots of fun to play.
