RDR 2 has 300k animations and 500k lines of dialogue.

For comparison, Witcher 3 had 70k lines of dialogue, GTA 5 had 160k lines of dialogue, Fallout 4 had 110k lines of dialogue, Skyrim 60k, DOS 2 75k.

Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 have a combined 85k lines of dialogue.

It was the best one. He jumped off a cliff, the horse acted realistically while in the air, and he flew off it with a thump that you could feel, and then the horse was dying slowly on the ground until he took out a knife and ended its suffering. All the physics and animations looked unbelievable, considering it wasn't a scripted cutscene but actual live gameplay.

I hate you because I really want RDR2 but I know I'll never get it because I'm not buying a console just so I can play one game and then never use it again. I'm sad af.
For real though that's actually insane, 500k lines of dialogue.. You can really see in comparison the level of detail and passion put into this.

Guess I'll just have to watch a playthrough of it ;(
