I meant "progressive" in the way that oppressing the inferred oppressors is somehow the way forward; anyone advocating for violence, subjugation and/or stifling of speech against someone else because of identification.

I don't disagree with a culture displacing not being the way forward but I can't blame people for settling when the leaders and policies they enact allow it.
