At this point I am legitimately worried about people that think CNN is anything but anti-Trump propaganda. Though I expect its mostly mentally deficient old people that fall into that category.

Why make that ageist assumption?

I just mean that you'd have to be suffering from dementia to think CNN actually represents real news

It's much more likely idiot millenials who watch "comedy" shows like Colbert's and the Daily Show and Samantha Bee's and all the other Heirs of Stewart are much more likely to embrace the narrative of regressive media. Prob some boomer hippies in the mix of course. Gen Z is a whole other kettle of fish.

It's nothing more than propaganda under the guise of comedy. They will keep this facade up until they find their new political savior who they will endlessly worship on these "comedy" shows.

The plebs can't get enough of their rich left-wing patrician overlords who promise to fix their economic woes by giving their jobs and employment opportunities away to the lowest bidding 3rd world migrants, those angelic economic migrants will surely bring the state endless welfare security and economic prosperity.

You mixed up some things. Giving job to those willing to work for less pay is the cornerstone of capitalism. Labor unions are on the other side of the spectrum.

Those who welcome poor immigrants and use them to replace well paid natives are hard core capitalists. A kind of people who built United States into what it is today. Every wave of immigrants went through same ordeal and were brought there by those who wanted more profits. Chinese, Italians, Jews, Mexicans...

It's funny how today there is rise of nationalism in United States. When historically anyone could be American, as long he was willing to learn a little bit of American history, work hard and pay taxes. Current state of affair, pro Trump movement and everything he represents, are based on fear. There is no real need or logic behind that shift. Similar state backed project that were results of population being irationally scared over something never managed to succeed. Doomed to fail, such ideas are.

Nationalism has always been extremely high in the United States. Immigration in the past was much different, heavily regulated and regionally capped by laws and the condition of the market. Since then the US population has nearly quadrupled to over 350 million in under a 100 years. Times change and there is no longer a correlation between population and job creation in the global economy, now most labor is exported to foreign countries to the lowest bidder. Unless people want to disband Unions and subject themselves to the same conditions as the 3rd world those jobs are never coming back.

Leshma pontificating on subject he is completely fucking ignorant of, exhibit 3058. Hey Leshma, maybe look into US immigration laws pre-1960's and the reasoning behind them, you might find they do not accord at all with your retarded kumbaya Disney bullshit of " 'Murica always been land of immigrants from all over the world!". You are so fucking retarded and proud of your retardation it's painful. You don't even try to correct your ignorance at any point, just wallow in it like a pig in its own shit.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immigration_and_Nationality_Act_of_1965

"The 1965 Act marked a change from past U.S. policy which had discriminated against non-northern Europeans. In removing racial and national barriers the Act would significantly, and (((unintentionally))) (lol), alter the demographic mix in the U.S."

"The Hart–Celler Act of 1965 marked a radical break from the immigration policies of the past. Previous laws restricted immigration from Asia and Africa, and gave preference to northern and western Europeans over southern and eastern Europeans."

It's interesting that I often see Europeans mention the US as the cornerstone of capitalism when it has existed for well over 1000 years in Europe since the Ancient Romans. The US did not invent Credit, banks, private property, economics and global markets. Let's also ignore the fact that Europeans continued to live in Kingdoms and Empires for hundreds of years after the US rejected these backwards dark age institutions. Not letting a small handful of corrupt rich nobles and aristocrats run all of our political and economic affairs totally had nothing to do with our economic success and attractiveness.

The first fire brigades in Rome would only extinguish your house fire if you were willing to sell your property to a billionaire named Crassus, if you didn't sell they simply walked away and let it burn. Do you think this was a form of corrupt capitalism Leshma? Or do you think the plebs who demanded to pay no taxes deserved it for their arrogance and short-sightedness?

>asking Leshma about historical facts

Brah Leshma knows and understands practically nothing about history and by extension contemporary reality, or anything that stretches beyond his fat soyboy bugmanlet navel. If it's not gleaned from a fucking manga-anime, a video game or a cartoon he doesn't understand it. His ignorance is surpassed only by his willingness to smugly opinionate on subjects that are desperately beyond his grasp. He's like one of those savant-autists, without the savant part.

He is still flipping through his Socialism for Dummies book trying to figure out how Communism failed and why Capitalism, naturally embedded into the human ethos, is superior. I've told him time and time again that socialism is nothing more than simple bribery at it's core, Karl Marx didn't invent socialism he merely coined the term. At the heart of socialism there is always a scheme to ride the coat tails of populism to expand and consolidate state and political power. At it's best it is merely a temporary solution to a deficiency, left to fester it will evolve into an unnatural limiting force that creates needless dependency.
