Real talk tho, I don't think that banning anyone for  being "offensive" should even be a thing. So what if people want to be spergs and shout the N word.
Just mute them, it honestly shouldn't bother you that much. My dad is actually black and I don't get triggered by the N word. I myself am half cuban/half friend  and I couldn't give a single shit if people try to offend me, and neither should the admins.

We must consider the perspective of others though. Some people may find hours of spamming friend funny while some others think it's unbearably idiotic. I too don't care about racial slurs, yes I'm a sandperson and a roach, I don't mind it, but that doesn't mean others don't too and thinking like "other 10 people that I care in the community thinks the same" is a bad mentality.

Admins nearly always mute first.

Then when the player leaves and rejoins to deliberately get round the mute that's when they need a punishment that sticks.

Nobody ever developed a mute that sticks in Warband/cRPG so the only punishment available to people who get round the mute is a ban. That's what's been happening.

When cRPG revival started my first suggestion to the new devs was to look into the logistics of a mute that sticks, to try and avoid exactly this situation. A ban is too harsh, but no other punishment can actually stop a player from doing it. At the very least once it's gotten to the point of a ban, you're no longer just banning them for the word, but also for deliberately circumventing the mute.

And people that circumvent bans. Playing a dangerous game considering devs have full access to your account. You're really counting on their good-will there.

The vast majority of this thread is composed of and made by people that never had the intelligence reading comprehension skills to understand the few simple points the admin team has made abundantly clear; yet you want them to waste more of their time explaining things to you when you absolutely refuse to see any other side to this than the one you have fabricated.

I can speak from experience, considering I used to be one of the worst admins, that it is very tiring having to temporarily ban people because I get offended by words on the internet. The vast majority of this thread is composed of and made by people that never understood why the admins were such flaming homosexuals; we should just permaban the playerbase for trolling us because we are the Keyboard Lords of the realm.
