How much does a set of armor and weapons cost? Everyone's gear looks fantastic, and it looks like a real fun time. Nobody does stuff like that here. We only have American Civil War reenactors who fire musket blanks at each other and then cook 1800s food around a campfire.
1500-3000 USD. Its very expensive. Look up SCA (difference between SCA and BON is that they use rattan weapons instead of blunted steel, rattan is like bamboo leathes wrapped together or some similar material) or something, they are more prevalent in the US than other groups. Generally they will have loaner armor sets so people can come out and try it. There are a few other ones as well but i cant remember the names lol
