So they've obviously time travelled like a 1,000 miles again to get down to King's Landing. The whole thing in the last episode happened like a day's march away from the wall. They've spent atleast a week getting back to King's Landing. It's really nice of the Night King to let the plot unfold.

This diplomacy meeting is fucking cringe, the scene is so poorly written.

God, I hate Jon. Why do people like him? He's done nothing in 7 seasons. Maybe I just feel this way cuz he got such a punchable face.
Edit: Maybe the actor is shit, I'm starting to think about how he only got one emotion, his face always looks the same. Like Kristen Stewart or Emilia Clarke. Anyone could act out these scenes, it's just saying the lines and putting on the same dull face.

Good scene, slightly dissapointed because we haven't really seen much of his mastermind on-screen but I guess it was a fitting ending.

They didn't get any new evidence on Littlefinger, all they had was 3 teens claiming he did those things and everyone was still cool with LF being murdered. So why not do it in episode 1? Why have all this elaborate fakery?

It wasn't about evidence, what are you on about? They didn't know the Littlefinger's role in all of the events that took place, they know it now that Bran told them.
As for why everyone took their words without any proof -
1) They are Starks and their lords.
2) It all makes sense.
3) Nobody likes Littlefinger anyway.

Yes exactly, it wasn't about the evidence, Bran didn't acquire any abilities he didn't already have, he already knew Littlefinger did it, so why would he wait until episode 7 to tell Sansa and Arya?

In the books he travelled with Jon connington and young Griff who is implied to be rhaegars son aegon Targaryn, which they deleted from the show. So maybe this is a replacement of sorts for that storyline.
