The attacker stopped, CHN flourished. We have 40 people in the daytime and 100 in the evening. This patch is great, a perfect combination of heavy plate armor and great power strike, cool.

The difficulty increase was progressive, so taking the maul and the plate new pre-req as a a basis of the argument is ill fitted.

We've not had that many players on EU and NA combined in like a year :D
For all the non-believers, look no further than this thread for proof that while strat battles are won/lost in NA3/EU3, strat wars are won and lost on the forums.

More encouraging to already top tier strength builds? Less variation on the field? Damn i shouldve stayed away from these, i just get depressed when stuff like this gets patched.

Sure, armor requirements were too low before, but this large of an increase is just ridiculous.

C'mon make the mod fun already. Let's all have level 45 in 4 hours. Raise strength requirements to insane levels and also raise armor by like 400%. Gives more room to balance weapons. Make crossbows mostly
1-hit and arbalest can pierce shields, but super inaccurate. Horses have lots of health and are faster, with slower turning speeds. Bows are accurate, but don't shoot very far, unlike crossbows so you have to aim high and drop the arrows from above on ppls silly heads. 1handers are 200% faster than 2h and pole, but you can only block other 1h with them and not polearms and 2h'ders.

That would be fun gameplay
This is about being straight out retarded. Children see in slow motion like owls.

From where I'm standing Jona, this patch sure doesnt pain me at all, so maybe you might feel a need to ignore the following but:

The difficulty increase was on average +4 STR pre-req.
It pushed only the high-end, 50+ armor rating to 19+ STR pre-req.
The common agility build have 18 STR and less, if you agree? Very few have more, except if high leveled.
So now the agility builds cant have access to all but the gothic plate, but at max the medium-heavy kind, which ironically increase their DPS but they can be killed a bit easier.

Thats all this patch does on armor really. I dont see it as ridiculous, but it of course force people to change, and in the current circumstances on this mod, it was predicted that there would be some backlash.
Maybe its because I'm now also working on this mod that I see things differently, but I cannot blame those still working on this mod on the pretense it is dead, I prefer to judge on the content.
Of course I'm aware that I'm wasting my time a bit here posting that, lots of people just dont care, but some people still do, and most of them are busy "further killing the mod" as some might say  :P
