I think it's a bit sad that people will only take part in events if they're given money to do so, I mean come on, is it really that boring?

I think the reason is Historic battles are so clasic. People wants new things, different events to join. For ex; Police vs Riot was a different kind of event. U shall try to make something different like USSR vs USA / North and South Civil War of USA / Roman Empire vs Mongol Empire idk be creative

Yeah I'll be there surely. In my opinion there would be a French Revolution event. Guards vs Folk (Farmers, Miners, Innkeepers, Beggars..) will be funny ^^ Miner is ready for that event!
